I am sorry I do not interact with all the comments and other artists tracks as much as I’d love to. I have three children aged 1 to 8, two of whom have additional needs at the moment. 

With the little time I do have, I want to spend it on music production, which has become a kind of art therapy for me in difficult times. I hope things will improve and I’ll be able to interact more.

Welcome to the many Dimensions of DKODA. I try to create audio worlds within my own sonic universe. 

*I mix creatively and not for radio, I have nothing mastered on here*

I’m on this grind 24/7 people, come along for the journey. My page just showcases my development as I practice beat making every day. I just post the results up on here as soon as I finish a new one. 

This page mostly acts as a personal record of all the sampled music I’ve made over the last 12 years, since I got deep into my MPC's and started teaching myself. I just make what I feel and try to translate what’s in my head so people can hear it. I exclusively use Koala Sampler for iPad since September 2023 and am now adding my SP404 MkII into the mix as well, so bear with me. 

Having synesthesia, I see the colours, shapes, textures and movements of the sounds in my mind whenever I hear sound/music, plus scenes in my head. I try and use samples to paint and capture what I feel or want to say. I’m all about the feel.

Thank you for visiting my profile. I am a lifetime music junkie that began making beats in 2019. My weapon of choice is the Native Instruments Maschine MK3. Every track posted is a live recording without a DAW or automation. I come from a background of scratching records, so I feel a need to be hands on. All tracks were created in a freestyle manner without premeditation. Part of my process is to record what I have before ending the session. The tracks here are those session recordings. Kings in Crowns are a new hip-hop triumvirate that artfully combine edgy soul, fierce attitude, and a pinch of good ol' southern charm and grit. The group was conceived in 2012 by rapper Onehunnit and producer BIGfoot BEATS, who had met up and collaborated through SoundCloud. Soon after, Onehunnit called in fellow Dallas native Charley P. to complete the trio. Together they have a chemistry that not only complements each rappers' flow, but also emphasizes the raw power hidden in the mystical beats provided by BIGfoot. With this lyrical dynamism and the majestic and clever sound constructions, there is something captivating and almost esoteric about the music of Kings in Crowns. Its spontaneity will keep you on your toes, but the grooves it drops into are hard and fresh enough to keep your mind focused on the cadence and content of the words. And with influences that range from MF DOOM and Busta Rhymes to Curtis Mayfield and Stevie Wonder, it is no wonder that these three southern gents have created such an interesting and eclectic sound. Kings in Crowns are just starting to take their first baby steps as a group, but it is clear from their debut singles that they have the talent, vision and drive to conquer and reign in the hip-hop world. For now, however, they are just here to make killer music, to have fun, and to relax your mind

No it's not Gibraltar, but a little bit further West. ... Actually I checked recently and it is further North more than West, I thought I was facing South when in fact I probably was facing the Atlantic ocean, which is why I suppose the waves were of a decent size where we were.
