The Rockville Concert band celebrates 60 years of community service with a Gala concert. The concert begins with a traditional opening including our National Anthem and Fanfare For the Common Man. Featured musical selections from our inaugural year of 1957 will include West Side Story Highlights and Colonel Bogey March. Also included will be selections representing music through the years such as Dave Brubeck’s Take 5, and Pageant, by Vincent Persichetti. In honor of the Band's commitment to providing the musical background for Rockville's many civic and patriotic events, the concert will close with a Star Spangled Patriotic Medley featuring Patriotic Sing-Along.
