Condition Shit (new track)

Healing Song for Eleyan

Trying out some sound samples from the popular Splice website, and whipped up this thing in just a few hours, combining sampled loops with my own playing. Most of the track is from samples I chose and arranged, and my playing contribution is mainly the organ, drum fills & effects, and most of the middle 'Funk' section, including the vocal bits (Funk section is my favourite part, ha!). 
Not sure if this is a final version, but kinda fun experimenting.

Any critique / suggestions from you electronic music peeps out there, or anyone, is very welcome! (as always.) Here's a couple other electronica tunes I've got buried in my collection. There's a playlist kicking around here somewhere...

Splice of Life (Melodic Soul)

Another track that floated unfinished in the digital recorder (and my) memory for a few years, changed several times (only the piano and bass parts remained the same). At first I wanted to do something similar to the opening themes of 1960s TV football programmes; then, by adding and subtracting parts and instruments, it reminded me of Viennese Kaffeehäuser from the early 1900s. Perhaps because of the many overlapping strings: here seem to be many people talking, some even alone. Since this impression does not displease me, I decided to end the long agony of the piece.

little draft ....  an improvized dialog of trumpet & trombone, each blown on my Akai EWI USB, on a simple cyclic backing created with vst and a midi tool with the nice name "modal random" for the keyboard :-) ... Actually, it's always about the “intersection” that decides on dissent or consensus. However, each fact in itself already changes its value due to the frame of reference of the respective observer.  It becomes crazy when those involved in the exchange completely abandon the basis of “facts” and allow themselves to be guided only by emotions.
