I've realised the descent by the continuous downwards motion of the bass in the first part. The delay on the kick drum mirros the echos in a cave, first being on it's own, later being joind by more echos to form a pulsating groove.

Ain't Shit Changed

Introduction in English:

My uncle, who became a sort of surrogate father to me after my father's untimely death, celebrates his 91st birthday in July. His wife had passed away some time ago and he had been single ever since. 
About five years ago, he visibly harbored the intention of ending his life in Switzerland with active euthanasia. 
Then, surprisingly, an elderly lady (about five years younger than him) moved into the apartment next door. She had also been widowed for some time.
Both got to know each other and fell in love. 
And even today they seem to be freshly in love with each other when I visit and they are sitting snuggled up on my uncle's old sofa. 
A scene that gives me hope and shows me that love can "catch" you even in old age. 
And a scene that was the starting point for the creation of the song "I`m in Love" posted here.  

Lyrics (for those, who don`t speak German)

I`m in Love

First verse:

I had already counted the days one by one,
I struggled out of bed every morning
Went all crooked and awry 
Had long since lost my hair

In Switzerland I had already ordered my coffin
For my gradual departure from the world
My heart pacemaker gave me the last groove

But suddenly a neighbor moved in
As wrinkled as me
In her nature beautiful and fine
I put down my suitcase for Switzerland for now

Second verse:

The next day she knocked on my door
She imagined she was here forever now
In her old eyes I saw the young woman

Before she left again she embraced me

Instead of abandonment and renunciation a love poem flowed through me

Mein Onkel, der nach dem frühen Tod meines Vaters eine Art Ersatzvater für mich geworden ist, feiert im Juli seinen 91. Geburtstag. Seine Frau war schon länger verstorben und er seitdem alleinstehend. 
Vor ca. fünf Jahren  hegte er zusehends die Absicht, seinem Leben in der Schweiz mit aktiver Sterbehilfe ein Ende zu setzen. 
Dann zog überraschend eine ältere Dame (etwa fünf Jahre jünger als er) in die Nachbarswohnung ein. Auch sie war schon längere Zeit verwitwet.
Beide lernten sich kennen und verliebten sich ineinander. 
Und auch heute noch wirken Sie wie frisch verliebt ineinander, wenn ich Sie besuche und sie eng aneinander geschmiegt auf dem alten Sofa meines Onkels sitzen. 
Eine Szene, die mir Hoffnung macht und mir zeigt, dass die Liebe einen auch noch im hohen Alter "erwischen" kann. 
Und eine Szene, die den Ausgangspunkt für die Entstehung des hier geposteten Songs "I`m in Love" bildete.
