©Crackerjack is a dynamic lead, rhythm, and bass guitarist whose sound is deeply rooted in blues-infused hard rock. 

With a musical style that channels the raw energy of Chris Cornell, Soundgarden, Alice In Chains, Slash and AC/DC, along with influences from Guns N' Roses, Gary Moore, Hendrix, and SRV, his music is a powerful blend of intensity and finesse.

While firmly planted in hard rock, ©Crackerjack occasionally explores folk and acoustic sounds, adding depth and variety to his work.  ©CrackerJack handles all mastering, production and performing as well as playing all the instruments, other than drums, which he is soon to learn . Whilst his vocals are not the strongest, he sings with integrity, honesty and passion.

His discography includes several singles and a standout 5-track EP titled 'Life Stories,' which features everything from the driving rhythm of 'Husk' to the heartfelt ballad 'A Love Untold.'

Somewhere77’ is a London based self-taught solo artist, delivering more of a traditional song writing style with rock, acoustic, folk, country and blues influences.

2024 saw the release of the debut album “Whipped, Stripped & Almost Unplugged” which is a fully acoustic album of original songs featuring the Taylor 214CE DLX and recorded on a Boss BR80. 

Further releases have arrived and will continue to come which will be part of the next album called "The Road to Retrospection" in the near future.

Yes my vocals can be an acquired taste (this is not my day job! 😂) but I do hope that you can at least enjoy the musical melodical side of things.

My creative journey began as a visual artist, and now I'm concentrating my energy into creating music that can instantly impact minds and moods for the better. 

Almost all of my music is chill @ -100 bpm to hopefully stimulate calm and feelings of well-being in listeners as it does for me. 💙

I don’t use AI or samples. My music is original, digital, and composed using a MIDI keyboard and DAW. I also record live LoFi audio of ambient sounds such as birdsongs or rainstorms using an iPhone or a microphone connected to laptop.

In a world where we are poisoned by labels I think it's more honourable for humanity to show your true colours at the hard issues and lay them bare for a better future and in my opinion this should be more important then the success of whatever brand you are trying to create as a musician or artist. That's why I am The Beautiful Dark. My name is unlikely to help me become affluent and successful but it lays bare that this world has many dark inhumane ideas and mindsets to transcend and get on top of to move our existence on a path to a greater good for all life. So I'll do that for my children and I won't apologise for not trying to please people with any shallow so called truthful status quo. AI music and voice production infects human creativity and inspiration.

As a kid starting play keyboards for fun. Then I played live piano in piano bars and restaurants. During 90s also compose and recording my first audio tracks. After a 20 years break I came back with more love for music creation especialy for electronic sound.
