Cheema—derived from the Italian “cima” (ˈʧima), as in “cima di rapa,” “cima di cola,” “cima di Bitonto,” etc.—serves as the human instrument that brings the traditions of Puglia to the club, utilizing electronic music as a universal language for cultural sharing. Since 1996, Cheema has been an integral part of the music scene, starting as a DJ, progressing to a producer, and eventually becoming a live performer with advanced sound management technologies.

The acquisition of new live techniques has enabled Cheema to experiment and collaborate with over 60 musicians to date. This exploration has resulted in diverse musical proposals spanning various genres. Cheema extends the voice of Apulia worldwide with care and special attention, finely balancing the elegance of electronics with the rich tradition of local dialects. This delicate equilibrium exists on the spectrum between experimentation and a dancefloor atmosphere.

HOLLY NORTH, a Baltic coast native from a musical family, began his journey with the cello at age seven, later adding piano and electric bass. Growing up in a small city in eastern Germany, he developed a strong political and social awareness. After a period in New York, Holly delved into the electronic music scene, gaining recognition with releases like his 2021 single "Youth", which achieved 2 million Spotify streams. Now with Christian Löffler’s Ki Records, Holly merges acoustic and electronic sounds, creating dynamic, nostalgic tracks. A versatile live performer, he incorporates multiple instruments, including his cello and bass, and has toured extensively across Europe, including with Löffler in 2024.

I began DJing in 1998 during my first year at  Glamorgan University. By my final year I was playing regularly at the main clubs in Cardiff. Whilst playing at “Evolution" I was approached by their resident DJ who told me I was one of the most forward thinking and innovative DJs he had met.

However in 2005 I had a life changing accident.The years since have seen me go through an extensive rehab programme, initially focusing on the physical impact of this. However it has always been my aspiration to return to being a professional DJ again. I completed the intermediate and advanced DJ courses at Point Blank Music Academy.

I’m learning to compose and produce my own Dance tracks using the software, Ableton Live, taught by Tom Langley. My completed works can be found at https://soundcloud.com/matt_king_cole


In May 2015 I proudly supported a local, Let’s Love Life Charity DJing event at the Mulberry,  Farnham, raising money for the premature baby unit at St Peters Hospital, Chertsey.

And in August 2015, I was fortunate enough to be invited to DJ at the annual, Marvellous Festival, Wellington Country Park, Riseley. 

In the coming year I am looking to expand and develop further opportunities with my gigs and production.
