"One piece by day” - Homage to On Kawara (for saxophone quartet and video-installation) arose in moments of confinement due to the Covid-19 pandemic, and in which, for 11 days, short pieces for saxophone quartet and their possible combinations were created daily and expeditiously. The musical proposal includes several languages, as well as work with recorded sound coming from the instrumentalist's body, electroacoustic sound results, etc.

The flutist will appear at all times with their back to the audience. 
The space must remain practically dark, with little illumination. 
The lighting should be dim and warm.
At the back of the room is the musician, wearing sportwear while"performing" the piece.

The piece recreates the moment in which the subject has found themself rehearsing a piece they have to play. It refers to our actions seemly insignificant, inconsequential (such as rehearsals, repetitions, mechanical actions, studying for a specific purpose, etc.) but that reflect how we are and what we do. 
The process is therefore much richer here, it is a living event in itself. 
The search for perfection in order to achieve something is the thing itself.
The medium is the message.
