We're also an Australian record label incorporating the THR33-THIRTY Seven and da dAdA imprints, a music production house and a film sync service that began in 1997, growing out of a radio show. Apart from hosting two weekly radio programs these days -  those behind the label also produce remixes/edits and DJ regularly in clubs including a couple of Sydney residencies. We stage regular events including music-related films premieres, visual art exhibitions and live artist talks.

Aroop Roy is a producer, musician and label head, who joins the dots between electronic music and borderless organic sounds. From house, garage and techno to jazz, disco and global rhythms, he has enjoyed universal acclaim as a producer and DJ.
Aroop's sets are full of personality, style and infectious groove, earning him a growing reputation as a uniquely gifted DJ. In the last few years, he has been enjoying huge momentum, causing wild scenes at places like Fabric, Koko and Hi Ibiza and lighting up festivals including Defected Croatia, Lost Village, Worldwide and We Out Here. He is a resident for Defected Broadcasting House and has recorded guest mixes for the likes of BBC, NTS, Rinse and Jazz FM.

Showcasing his skills as digger and tastemaker, Aroop's label Vive La Musique reissues and reworks rare eclectic sounds from around the world, from Caribbean Zouk and Congolese Rumba to French jazz-fusion and South African soul. The catalogue has been celebrated by tastemakers across the scene with the recent offering "In the Fast Lane" receiving rave reviews for uncovering the historical connections between French virtuoso Jean-Luc Ponty and the Detroit techno movement.

The Remedy Project is the imprint of London-based tastemaker Melvo Baptiste. Throughout Melvo’s decade in broadcasting and A&R he has shared his musical DNA of soul, rare groove, funk, disco and house with enthusiasts around the world, while making connections with contemporary artists on the peripheries of these genres in his quest to become the next indie champion. 

The Remedy Project is dedicated to the development of those young, forward-thinking, genre-bending and ambitious musicians. The label’s founding principles are to offer a home and a platform to these like-minded artists.

Electronic music has always been filled with innovative individuals, but even among such company, Dean Zepherin is a producer who has managed to find his lane and appeal.  Born and raised in London, a suitably eclectic city for a man of his musical persuasion he is renowned for his consistently genre-pushing productions, having also spent time in Berlin, it became another city that’s left its mark on his always-captivating sound.
To fully appreciate and understand Zepherin’s approach, it’s necessary to go back to his roots in Harrow, London as it was here where he first encountered soul, funk and jazz fusion records. From an early age he was obsessed with these out-there sounds, as well as their ability to metaphorically transport him to a world far away from the confines of his hometown.
Adopting a more electronic-based sound later on, he soon became a natural at conjuring up “house” tunes with more than a hint of soul, the likes of which spoke to his own Caribbean roots. In the process, Zepherin describes his own raison d’etre with concise charm as ‘championing the emergence of indigenous influence in electronic music’, something now so endemic to much of the most in-vogue house productions, displaying a worldview that values above all the organic and the human in this machine. 
While he’s undoubtedly best known for his work over the past nine years, establishing Tribe as one of the world’s leading labels pushing the afro and soulful envelope, his own legacy goes way back to 1988 when he released ‘Give me back your Love’ under the pseudonym Boyz in Shock, credited as the UK’s first soulful house record.
His label Tribe remains a vehicle for his many solo productions and collaborations and has hosted works and remixes from a diverse range of artists and legends across the electronic music board, as well as hosting his esteemed works with labels Defected, Suol, No Fuss, Soul 2 Soul, Vega records and Jack Trax. 
Zepherin’s productions deliver impeccable slices of soulful and afro sounds fused in a futuristic musicality in which he emphasises the tension that soul music can have, rather than the release. His tracks and particularly his dubs under his moniker Zepherin Saint, are often full of suspense and atmosphere – check his ‘Take You There’ on Suol, or his ‘Skyy and Butterflies Dubs’ released on his own imprint.
Equally respected as a DJ as he is a producer, Zepherin gained his schooling playing the London sound system circuit in the 80’s and managing the legendary Black Market record store in the 90’s.  His unique talents of playing dance music with no boundaries have been sought after in the likes of Japan, Africa, North America, Indonesia, Canada, Europe Australia and the Middle East, while on a club level he’s left his mark at world renowned clubs like Contact, Tresor, Watergate, Cielo, Stereo, Djoon, Ministry of Sound and Pacha. 
A man of many considerable sounds and styles, it’s hardly surprising that Dean Zepherin’s colourful and diverse approach continues to enthral clubbers and electronic music connoisseurs across the world.

Oyobi is a musical project that explores the boundary between organic folkloric rhythms and machine-based analog electronica. Their music is primal, raw, and prone to improvisation, with an unflinching streak of bending and breaking typical genre barriers. Consisting of uniquely created sounds and atmospheres, their performances use an array of synthesisers, drum machines, percussion and bass, to create compelling analog infused polyrhythms that explore the modern application of folkloric traditions.

Scott Pullen has earned recognition in the dance music industry, propelled by Beatport's #1 Latest Releases: Afro House with his track, ‘Lost Love’ (Redolent), & #1 Latest Releases: Organic House ‘In Your Hands’ (YHV Records). By securing five chart-topping releases, he solidified his position at the top of Beatport’s ‘On Our Radar’ list & labelled as ‘one to watch’ both in the studio & on the dance floor by the world’s largest DJ store. One of the elite Australian DJs to be included in the DJ Magazine Top 100, Pullen now lives on the Island of the Gods, Bali, where he was voted ‘Best DJ’ at the YAK Wards in 2019. It was only during the Covid lockdowns Scott began to produce his own music. In December 2021, Scott released his debut single, ‘Mombasa’ (Caballero Records), skyrocketing to the Top 20 on Beatport’s Afro House chart (#16) & Funky/Groove/Jackin’ House charts (#15).

Continuing with his success, Scott track’s have been championed by Pippi Ciez’s Inward Records, Sparrow & Barbossa’s Tortuga Tribes label, DJ Chus & La Santa’s Redolent Records & South-East Asia’s leading independent label, YHV Records. Scott's Latest track, Mystic Bedouin, is released on the Cafe De Anatolia label.

Founded by New Orleans based producer and percussionist Otura Mun, ÌFÉ is a futuristic live electronic music project blending elements of Afro-Cuban folklore and Yoruban religious music with the bass driven sounds of modern day Jamaican Dancehall, Trap and Afro-Beat. The single most important electronic act in Afro-Caribbean music, ÌFÉ’s 2017 debut album “IIII+IIII” revolutionized the way electronic music was conceived and performed, seamlessly combining the intricacies of Afro-Caribbean percussion and song with the power of modern electronica played in real time, no DJ’s, no programming, totally freed from the grid. A groundbreaking reimagination of ancient diaspora music and movement, ÌFÉ’s music explores the higher frequencies while paying keen attention to the lower ones in a way that feels equal parts riot and ritual. Their highly anticipated sophomore album is slated for release in Spring 2021.
