I discovered the Dead can Dance in 1995 (and i thanks to my dearest friends:  the brothers Pino and Filippo Sabatelli for that)
One of the songs that immediately struck me was this ...
With its sense of austerity that gave to me and the magnificent voice of Brendan Perry
An iconic group. 
Of those you will always listen to.
I don't feel it's a real cover
But, certainly my personal tribute to this group.
From the second part of the original piece (performed on flute and uillean pipes)
I extracted and modified the harmony by inserting it in the tail of this piece
combining several recent musical ideas.
It is certainly a project to be further investigated and elaborated, also because
there is a synth to tame with some parameter adjustments.
but still a good first version.

Hosomi Ayako (1907–1997) was a prominent haiku poet from Aogaki, Hyogo. After a series of personal tragedies, including the deaths of her husband and mother, she found solace in haiku during an illness. She later married Sawaki Kinichi, leader of the modern haiku group Kaze, and was deeply involved in the haiku community until her passing at 90.
