This song is another true story inspired by a conversation I had with my astrologer friend @DJShAnkAri. We were talking about my garage sale blues, (Pluto Blocked My Path - 
https://on.soundcloud.com/tywNJmqaPIonULWAFy) and she shared some insights about my chart, mentioning Pluto blocking my path and Uranus striking my Sun. I wrote both songs after that conversation. But what really sparked this song was when she started talking about how humans act like machines without even realizing it. She shared a funny story about her broken refrigerator handle and how she and her son Aurélien would constantly forget it's broken and try to open it the old way.

The song is about being stuck in routines and habits, and how we often act on autopilot without even thinking. It's a relatable story about how we can get caught up in these patterns and struggle to break free. I wrote this song to highlight the humor and frustration in these moments, and to poke fun at ourselves for being so predictable. The song's catchy melody and lyrics are meant to make you laugh and nod your head in recognition, because let's be honest, we've all been there - reaching for that fridge handle and getting a big surprise! 😉 😅🤣😂

This song tells the story of an aging former Walk of Fame movie star who once basked in the Hollywood limelight and was everyone’s sweetheart on the silver screen. With the passage of time, fewer screen roles come her way, and she begins to depend on red wine to cope with her depression and grief. Eventually, she decides to end it all. This time we’re taking a different approach, focusing on Tom’s chest voice and music that fits the mood. "No Man’s Sky" is a mix of cosmic and intimate: it uses space imagery (void, stars, silence, infinity) to talk about inner or relational distance. It’s not necessarily a romantic relationship, it could be between two people, two friends, two souls. But the message is that even in the midst of emptiness and distance, there’s an unbreakable bond.
The “No Man’s Sky” here isn’t the video game, but a metaphor for a vast, boundless space where no one can live. Yet inside this “no man’s sky” there’s still a connection: two hearts beating or dreaming together, despite everything.
There’s strong melancholy (silence, coldness, broken stars), but also hidden hope: the idea that connection endures beyond distance.
It’s an atmospheric ballad, suspended between science fiction and the deepest human feeling.

Rapture is a new collaboration between the Beating Edge and Joe Stroffolino, following the awesome 'Asteroids (The Original Was Better) (https://soundcloud.com/beatingedge/asteroids-the-original-was). Joe wrote both the lyrics and the original music, while the Beating Edge rearranged and recorded it in a punchy rock style, adding driving guitars, strong rhythm, and dynamic choruses. Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays everybody! I hope everyone is enjoying a safe and happy Christmas this year! This is my new Christmas song for this year, I wrote it during the summer like all great Christmas songs!😂 Of course, Love is appreciated all year-round but it's really important during this time of year! I know some people get depressed during the holidays and I wrote this song to cheer everybody up because "Love Is A Holiday", am I right? It's understood and it makes you feel so good! So let love lead the way! I was very depressed during the holidays after my divorce and I felt abandoned and very alone for several years and then guess what? The magic of love returned and the joy of Christmas filled my heart once again that very first Christmas after I met Anita. It's been almost 20 years now and Christmas has been wonderful ever since! Ho-Ho-Holy Moly, I think I'm going to cry!🥺👀😂
     I recorded this song by myself and kept building on it over several days! If I had a choir it would be singing this song with me! It's one of my feel good songs and I hope that feeling infects everyone that listens to it this Christmas. It's very much a sing-a-long, Fa-La-La-La-La type of song with 2 special treats attatched to it!!!

     In the video during the ending credits, I added Sharri Hobbs singing "The Christmas Song" back in 2002. Then after that song, I attached a Christmas Bonus Video of the very first Christmas song I ever wrote back in 2000 called "Have A Very Merry Christmas"! This video also has Sharri singing it and me and Charlie singing back-up vocals and was originally directed by Anita and one of our first videos. I enhanced and remixed it a bit this year and remixed the audio too! All in All this video is super long because of the remixing I did and the bonus material, it's about 8 minutes long, but it's my Christmas gift to everybody this year! A non-singer songwriter! Writing a series of songs (Double Album) about western philosophy and philosophers while trying to keep them rockin'. These song explore western philosophy inspire by Nigel Warburton's Book "A Little History of Philosophy" and I started writing them to aid my poor muddle memory.

Picked up the Electric Guitar during lockdown after 20 years and haven't looked back - why did I put it away!
