I wrote this story for an old friend in my hometown who dedicated his life to Rock´n Roll, lived thru all the ups and downs  and never regretted the decision he  had made when he was very young.
I am really grateful for the collab with Mikey Falls  @MyKingFalls Collective who did a great job creating a catchy Rocksong ("working his magic on it!") with extraordinary vocals and vocal performance , a great hookmelody (right from the start!) and an impressive backing punch.

Something spoke deeply to me while listening to his Cloud, and after about a month of consideration he settled on this improvisational piano piece of mine, and worked to orchestrate it along the 'less is more' principle. Hi everyone and welcome back to my channel!  **I NEVER USE A.I. FOR ANY OF MY SONGS!** Just me & Charlie warts and all! I actually play all the instruments & Charlie sings and plays the Harmonica! We're NOT perfect but we're REAL!! 
This is another of my travels down Memory Lane songs and video. I love to reminisce about the good times when I was a kid and life was ours for the taking! Those sweet memories seem to be diminishing now and being replaced with harsh ones about hatred and division and greed. Okay, but let's stay positive and happy for now because this song is one of joy! Charlie sang it perfectly and once again I got my beautiful wife to come down to the studio and join me in the backing vocals as I did on the song "I Still Remember". It has that same early 60's rock & roll groove to it and we had a fabulous time recording it! This is one of my favorites because it's a story song about being teenagers and having fun! As the French always say "La joie de vivre"!

I worked very hard on the video and storyboarded it like some of my other songs to try and relay that carefree ambiance of youth! My wife at the time was feeling much better and had regained her strength and vibrance after all the cancer treatments the year before. Overall 2009 was a good year and it shows in this song! This song began as an idea Tez came up with on his guitar while on holiday not far from his home in Wales. It had such a solid form, it inspired Mark to write lyrics and come up with vocal melodies within a few days of hearing it for the first time. The two of them have written several songs like this, making them a solid songwriting source for Eclectic Collective. 
  Once the song had a even more solid form, Ken took added his dynamic, bouncy-groove drums to it. As soon as Ken had the drums down, Josh took his turn, adding the fretless bass and solidifying the groove. Now that the basic framework was done, Stephen added his thrilling electric guitar. Last, but certainly not least, JJ added his dancing organ and the really cool, psych synth lead part in the bridge towards the end. Mark also added some awesome backing synth to it, as well, filling out the sound. At the very end of the process, Tez also dropped in the hot intro and outro solos, as well.
  Once we had it all in the can, it was time to turn it over to Tez for his expert production and mix. He came up with the idea of adding reverb to the drums, as well as some other compression tricks, which he employed with subtle style. 
   This, as mentioned, is a great example of what Eclectic Collective can do in house with the composition and songwriting skills of Tez and Mark. The rest of us really had fun working on this one, too, of course. We hope you enjoy listenig to this as much as we enjoyed making it.
