Strangers Are The Most Interesting People That You'll Meet

This song I wrote during the pandemic when we were all becoming a little crazy! It's about mental health issues in a scary kind of way for Halloween. I tried different rhythms for it and threw in a lot of sound effects here and there but I don't feel I recorded what I was hearing in my head. The lyrics are O.K. but the music is so-so. It's a little too long, I should have cut maybe another minute out of it. I was trying to set the right mood. It's like 2 songs meshed together into one, there's the slow spooky verses and then the very disco-flavored faster section, let me know if you think it works? It is a little creepy, especially at night when you're all alone in an old creaky house, that's when the doubts start creeping in!😱👻 The video was fun to make and enhances the song tremendously! I worked very hard on it a few months ago just for Halloween 2024. Watch it if you dare! Getting creeped out and losing your mind is not my idea of fun but it's Trick Or Treat time! Why do we like being scared so much? Who knows? The couple in the video seem to be on a bad acid trip more than anything else most of the time!😂 Thanks for visiting and happy trick or treating out there. Be safe & be carfeul!🧟‍♂️👀👻

Hi everybody, my name is Jim and I’m a songwriter, I've written over 300 songs, I play guitar, bass, piano, and am a pretty good lyricist.  I play all types of music and have my own recording studio.  I use no A.I. or DAW or any computers to make my songs, all the instruments are played by me live on a multitrack studio recorder and Charlie, my vocalist, sings most of my songs and also plays the Harmonica on several tracks.
