Scarlet Dawn

One of my favourite Soundcloud artists @remnant60 posted a gorgeous track that he left open for collaboration, so I jumped at the chance to try and add something that might fit with his ambient, mystical guitar sound. I settled on some ethereal cello chords (played on keyboard with some pitch bend modulation) and this is the result. I try to recommend listening with headphones when I think it's worth it, and I think it applies in this case.  :)

Out Back Storm

This song I wrote back in 2010 and it's about failed relationships. I don't remember much about the song, it wasn't personal or anything like that, I think Charlie said something about politicians only giving us "Pretty Words & Empty Promises" and I liked that title so later that week I wrote this song. I wanted it to be bittersweet sounding, I was trying to express in music what a broken heart may sound like if it could sing. Charlie really did a good job on this one. One of my prettiest melodies and saddest lyrics. The video follows the lyrics pretty closely and is fairly new, I think I finished it up in March of this year. This is the audio track from the video so you'll hear noises like a pop and such but you'll have to watch the video to see why! I hope everyone enjoys it! Here's the link:

**I NEVER USE A.I. IN ANY OF MY SONGS!** Hi everybody, my name is Jim and I’m a songwriter, I've written over 300 songs, I play guitar, bass, piano, and am an okay lyricist.
