This song began as Carl's tribute poem to our drummer, Ken. Carl came up with the chord progression and started a project, to which he invited the rest of us. This is the third song Eclectic Collective has done that is a tribute by Carl to one of our members.  We couldn't feel more honoured than to be the subjects of his wild and boundless creativity.
  Fittingly, Ken was first in line to add his magnificent drums. Once we had drums, Josh had something to work with to add his bass, which he did shortly after the drums were up. Mark paid the project a visit next, helping out with a bit of production editing, and dropping in a mad percussion solo using his VST timbale drums. Stephen jumped in soon after, adding the melodic electric guitar riffs that appear throughout. Not to be outdone, JJ added some sonically thickening electric piano, as well as the throwback psychedelic synth that pops up towards the end. Finally, Tez came along and added the electrifying solo that appears about a third of the way in, as well as the one at the end. 
  Once the recording was finished, we turned it over to Stephen to mix in his always professional manner. 
  This song is all about our very talented teammate and brother, Ken, and it is well deserved, too. As mentioned, this is the third song from Carl about one of us. It's hard to describe the feeling of having someone who you respect take the time and energy to think about you in such a positive way as to produce a song about you. Then to have all your buddies join in to amplify it to a solid song is just mind-blowing. We are all very grateful to Carl for not only sharing his music with us, but for his thoughtful consideration of each of us as subjects. We hope you enjoy listening to this as much as we enjoyed creating it.

      This is another of my Instrumentals written in 2022 during the pandemic with a moral underbelly. I've always wanted to write a song about Swans but I put a twist in the video and made it about hunters that actually shoot and kill Swans for no apparent reason other than they must enjoy killing beautiful things and creatures. I also added other creatures besides man that can be deadly for Swans like Alligatros and such. The song was way too long and too repetitive so I remixed it last year and shortened it by about 1 minute and a half and produced a new video for it.  Even with the edits the song is still over 5 minutes long! I think I should have edited about another 1 minute from it. It's still a little too repetitive! This audio soundtrack is made to be listened to with the video! You here gunshots and other noises so please check out the video.

    During the new video creation I had turned the Swan into a beautiful woman and tried to suggest that killing a beautiful Swan is like killing a beautiful woman and therefore must NEVER be done! I don't show any Swans being shot, of course, it's all suggestive. After a recent comment on my video from my fellow creator and good friend Blue Bart (check his channel out on YouTube, it's really cool!👍), he suggested that the beautiful woman in the video should be a "Magical Swan Goddess" looking after and protcting these magnificent creatures from hunters and preditors! I really loved that idea and so with a wave of my wand, WHOOSH, it is so!😂 I'd like to thank Bart for his very creative and inspiring suggestion!
     I remember adding tons of audio and video effects on this one, lots of keyboards and delayed guitars and such. Another artsy composition and video, showing that I don't only compose silly love songs, although I must admit, I love writting them!  😂 This one is along the lines of "A Sublte Tear", "Together Alone", and "Oblivion". More of an artistic instrumental with no lyrics and a long cinematic video, more like a Short Subject film. My daughter is now eleven but when she was 4 or 5 years old, I was trying to learn Spanish (but then life got in the way) and as we brushed our teeth every night, I would sing a silly song “Abre la boca, lava tus dientes blancos blancos muy limpios”.  I’m sure it’s a terrible translation but recently the song popped into my head and this weekend, and I thought it might be fun to attempt to turn it into a complete song.
