*Keith makes observations everywhere he goes, and in this instance, his tours of local castles led to this idea - those great, huge, thickly-hewn doors are actually hung on very small hinges. Of course, Terry sees the image as a metaphor -great change often begins with small starts. Literal or metaphorical? We 'll leave that up to the listener.

Feed the Inner Zombie

Years ago, my brothers and I had spent several weeks getting my dad's house ready to sell after he had passed. I was in the realtor's office ready to sign the paper work when the prospective buyers asked why I wasn't buying the house I grew up in.  I said (not thinking) "Too many ghosts".  The realtor immediately jumped in and said, "he means memories" to which I smiled confirming the needed clarification:)  It does beg the question however, how many "ghosts" haunt our lives; bad decisions, fractured relationships, things we did or failed to do.  I have found hope and forgiveness in the Christian faith, others have found healing in the passing of time, others still carry a heavy burden of what could have been or should have been.  Peter explores the theme in poignant verse to Seagull's quixotic soundtrack.  I am honored to  contribute a few colors to the tapestry;)

Yes, I know you.
I can feel your presence.
I can touch you, smell you.
I see you not by sight of eye
And yet I ken that you are I
That vespered wraith that writhes within
To test my faith, try my sin
Push the bounds to cause offence
A moral, soul thing, ghost of a sense recalls myself, so well defined
Entrenched, walls behind, built so sound of dust that crowned the pity, falling soft amiss,
Deep inside the tears I cry as here I find my self-abyss.

Whispers bringing shadows, filled of secrets therein held,
Memories, morose, piece me still, to wear in time, my wasted face.
And now reside, cast aside, to forge and ever meld,
Of haunting, ringing echoes, that will alone their chime erased.

With its beards and staffs and crinkled testaments.

Greeting Earthlings, this is your Master Of Ceremonies with another Halloween track for you unfortunate viewers and listeners out there to be creeped out about! This is track #3 for October 2025. This one is about psycho's and crazy blood-thirsty murderers ready to chop you up into little pieces when they snap!(😂🎃😂). **NO A.I. USED IN SONG OR VIDEO EVER!!**

The video is a little gruesome, so beware my viewers! I tried to write it from a demented killer's point of view! Make sure you hold on tight to your Teddy's and keep the lights on while watching! (ha,ha,ha,ha!). You never know when an unhinged psycho will creep up behind you! 
     I worked really hard on this song and video and Charlie sang it perfectly! I wrote it in 2019 just before the pandemic hit,  around Thanksgiving of that year. I really like this one but I think it needs a bit more Cowbell!😂 I tried to make the video into a mini-slasher film and I spent a couple of weeks on it and storyboarded it and everything! I think it's one my best Halloween videos so far! Definitely NOT a love song! 
     In these days it seems we're all a bit unhinged with everything that's going on and the government being shut-down and all the hatred and death around the world and A.I. breathing down out necks!  When I wrote this song I had Alice Cooper in mind, the king of Shock Rock!! He may be too old already but I think he's still kicking! 🎃 Well, I bid you all a fond farewell and have a good night and don't let the bed bugs bite! More fiendish fun songs & videos to come until this Halloween is upon us! Make sure to sleep with one eye open at all times! 😂 Take care and stay safe!🙏🎃✌🏼

**I NEVER USE A.I. IN ANY OF MY SONGS OR VIDEOS!** Hi everybody, my name is Jim and I’m a songwriter, I've written over 300 songs, I play guitar, bass, piano, and am an okay lyricist.  I play all types of music and have my own recording studio.  I use no A.I. or DAW or any computers to make my songs or my videos, all the instruments are played by me live on a multitrack studio recorder and Charlie, my vocalist, sings most of my songs and also plays the Harmonica on several tracks. I use video clips from Motion Array or Pexals or Pixabay for my videos. I'm not a pro or a great musician but I do what I can with the tools that I have!
