Michel Amato's contribution to electronic music can barely be overstated. As TheHacker, and under different aliases, he has inspired generations of dance music fans and artists. Since his first release in 1996, Amato had a Techno phase, dipped into EBM, sci-fi tinged Electro and New Wave, but is perhaps most famous as a founding father of Electroclash. He met a kindred spirit in Miss Kittin and together they became of one the most iconic duos in electronic music, with hits such as 'Champagne' (1998) and 'Frank Sinatra' (2000) selling hundreds of thousands of records.

In 2004, Amato released his most well-recieved album to date, 'Rêves Mécaniques', and the years since witnessed Amato put out a wide array of club mutations on many leading labels, including a double LP for his own label Zone.

Today, he is as in-demand as ever, with a highly-acclaimed album, 'Le ThéâtreDes Opérations' landing on Dark Entries in 2017 and contributions to tastemakers like Helena Hauff, Erol Alkan and Veronica Vasicka's labels since. In the live and DJ environment, Amato is as revered as he is on record, playing high-profile events such as Dekmantel, Berghain, Nuits Sonores and Off Sonar.

Mike Servito LIVE at Nocturnal Emissions 12/06/25 in Brooklyn, New York. Mike closed out the night, stepping into the dreamscape following Sevyn 0000’s deep, dark techno descent, and shifted the room’s center of gravity with seasoned precision. Guided by a raw Detroit energy and unmatched expertise, he turned an unexpected closing slot into a masterclass in jacking rhythm and sonic architecture. What followed was a detour into house, acid, and electro interlocking together as the floor loosened, reality erupted, and we navigated a new intricate solar system of sounds together. By the final stretch, the room was in full ruckus exploration—pumping, physical, and fully committed through the very last track.

Mike Servito is an artist deeply intertwined with his Detroit origins. Raised on the transmissions of The Electrifying Mojo and Jeff Mills, he began DJing in the early ’90s, absorbing the Motor City’s musical lineage alongside figures like Mike Huckaby, Claude Young, and Anthony “Shake” Shakir. After relocating to New York City in the early 2000s, Servito became a mainstay of the city’s underground, most notably as a resident at The Bunker NY. His jacking blend of house, acid, and techno—rooted in history yet sharply present—has carried him to dance floors worldwide. In recent years, he’s played over 100 shows annually, including Movement Detroit, Draaimolen Festival, Time Warp NYC, Panoramabar, Basement, and Nowadays.
