Anastasia Vronski - The Dread

"Psalm" is the second of three new Glowworm singles (each w/ a different collaborating artist) from the full length LP, "Midnight Intervals" (October '20). It features Polish pianist & vocalist Asia Dojnikowska, whose ethereal voice and minimalist, atmospheric keys float above Kevin Scott Davis' ambient synth and guitar work, creating an atmosphere of tender and intense longing in this duo's take on the modern psalm.

It features Polish double bassist & composer Maciej Sadowski, whose string work evokes living, growling images of an animalistic nature while Kevin Scott Davis' guitar and piano lines provide a developing story as the dialogue between instruments takes shape into a dense, nocturnal, musical forest.

Classically trained composers, the pair forgo intellectualism for simplicity & beauty, often with a melancholic gravity. Self described as "ambient chamber music," the project blends a mixture of live strings, piano, ambient guitar textures, and ethereal vocals.
