Aligning Minds - Folk Lore (Push/Pull Remix) [EXCLUSIVE PREMIERE]

Animatronix brings us his new downtempo release, "Connect". Written in 432 Hz, all of the tracks intend to tell a story while healing the listener through the resonance of love. Animatronix creates an intellectually psychedelic atmosphere by fusing elements from psydub, psytrance, and glitch hop. The "Intro" prepares the listener for the journey, advising them to ground themselves and connect. 

"Intro" flows seamlessly into "Psychoplasmic", a chill midtempo psystep track that slowly builds itself up and down through creative layering, setting the mood for the entire release. "Rhythem Of Dreams" slows things down to a dub-like rhythm, allowing the glitchy edits room to breathe and echo. While the entire release can be labeled as being downtempo, all of the tracks are filled with plenty of low-end and funky rhythms that would move the dance floor.

A little taster demo.... Ayahuasca  is a psychedelic brew made out of Banisteriopsis caapi vine, often in combination with various other plants. It can be mixed with the leaves of Chacruna or Chacropanga, dimethyltryptamine (DMT)-containing plant species. The brew, first described academically in the early 1950s by Harvard ethnobotanist Richard Evans Schultes, who found it employed for divinatory and healing purposes by the native peoples of Amazonian Peru, is known by a number of different names (see below).
It has been reported that some effects can be felt from consuming the caapi vine alone, but that DMT-containing plants (such as Psychotria) remain inactive when drunk as a brew without a source of monoamine oxidase inhibitor (MAOI) such as B. caapi. It is unclear how indigenous peoples discovered the hallucinogenic properties of the plants used in the ayahuasca brew. Many indigenous Amazonian people say they received the instructions directly from plants and plant spirits.

04 - JaguarTree - Inner Peace

“Stand With Us to Bless the Waters” is our prayer of solidarity for the Lakota Sioux Nation, & all the Water Protectors who have converged in North Dakota Standing Rock Reservation at the Dakota Access Pipeline. This is the first time in centuries that all the indigenous nations of Turtle Island (America) have come together in unity & guardianship for our Earth. This unprecedented tribal convergence has been catalyzed by the pipeline, but is representative of something much larger & more profound than a protest. 

In support for the situation in North Dakota, Amani Friend (Liquid Bloom) and Summit Jaffe (Numatik) were both separately inspired to create music for water and prayer.  Coincidentally, the two tracks were both finished at the same time on fall equinox and they were also written in the same key, making it ideal to interweave them into a one unified piece of music. While sitting in the New Mexico Hot Springs after Unify festival, Amani and Summit had the inspiration to curate this remix album. Producers from all over the world, like Earth Cry, Mystral, Soulacybin, Martin’s Garden, Ecometric, Gumi, and Twin Shape added their unique psychedelic downtempo flavors. Native elders like Black Fox Pomani, John Ball Running Eagle, and Yona FrenchHawk imbued the music with intentional water prayers. United together, we humbly offer this medicinal musical journey in support and healing. Water is Life!

IGBOOGÃ - ANCESTRAL HORIZONS EP

The igbo and the ogã (o-gan). In the ancient and sacred Yoruba language, ogãs are the priests responsible for the music in rituals and sacred feasts, while igbo is the jungle where they find their plants of power. With this inspiration, the Igboogã project is a partnership between Diogo Reyes Silva and Ilarí Papá, two musical producers with a history full of rich African cultural heritages. Thus, the songs presented here are the psychedelic tributes of such "priests of the sacred woods" to these legacies, an synesthetic musical journey, guided by ancestral visions of self-knowledge, healing and dance.

Ikaro", from the quechua "ikarai" (to blow smoke in order to heal) not only describes Southern American magical pratices. It also refers to the songs performed by xamans during ayahuasca ceremonies. The deep voices and percussions are used to amplify the intensity of ayahuasca ceremonies, enhancing the power of amazonian medicine through rhythm and melody. 

We aimed at gathering the beauty of the healing chant and the hypnotic power of digital organic synths and rythms to produce a psychedelic trip.

Vocal Credits : Mestra Olivia Arévalo Lomas from the Temple of the way of light, murdered on 2018 april 19th. She spent her entire life promoting Shipibo culture and protecting the forest from rare woods traffickers, settlers and corporations.

Geomagnetic has the good fortune to present a very talented artist and the best kept secret from Norway, please welcome Material Music's next album ""2Dragons"". Material Music, or Erland Yildiz as his earthly name is was born December 22nd 1970 in Norway. He grew up in the heavier artistic circles of Oslo and from a very young age he like so many expressive souls, started to play percussion drums which elevated into a life manifesting journey though all sorts of drums and other musical instruments that he could get his hands on. Erland rapidly got a reputation and started jamming with the ""big boys in town"" where the styles of Jazz, Funk, Rock, Reggae, Ska, Fusion and Disco ruled the sonic motion. From there he also because of his near family heritage, became more and more drawn to the classical oriental side of the musical scale. In the 90-s he started to transform a strong music taste within the electronic realm where GOA was the most awe inspiring and personally heartfelt complex genre to reflect and express. Outside his love and growth within ,,real"" music, Erland Yildiz through the 90-s did his share of Confusion and Club as well, and ventured into Techno and even House. As a part of an underground scene, he both produced, and playing at local raves. Already in '96 he was creating his own Oriental Techno Trance music. Erland ""Material Music"" Yildiz first got well into keyboards and piano at the age of 16, and studied the general art of Guitar at the age of 25. In his older days -now passed- he was loosely famous for owning a massive synthesizer and electronic music equipment collection in the infamous Hausmania building in Oslo where he lived since '98 as a resident squatter for many years. His collection was no joke. Material music absolutely fills his life, and has for the nerdy ones been doing HD Recordings with Midi's since 1987. Besides music he today has a renewed inspired life-force to live, love and enjoy a free and wonderful life, and is presently a proud Table-Tennis enthusiast & champion. And for those who get to know his Material Music, will hear that besides from a Psychedelic sense and respect, he also does Keysi Fighting Method which is much reflected in the energy he brings as a Goa/Psy-trance producer.

‘Night Moth’ is the final stage and lead track of a 3-part series that started with tracks ‘Caterpillar’ and ‘Chrysalis’. “Night Moth is the peak of the metamorphosis and really represents the transformation we have gone through as a band over the last year. The song began as an improvisational idea in Madison, WI while on tour. Over time the song took form to what the studio version is today, changing shape and structure many times. This idea was really what spawned the rest of the upcoming album.” Says Kevin Donohue.
