This is one of my first experiments with the amazing Famitracker, a sound tracker made for creating NES/Famicom music.
Very useful and funny to create Videogames music but also for reinterpret every genre of music.

I've been loving Queen since my childhood, and I totally go crazy for Brian May's overlapping guitar style. "Procession" is one of the most amazing album intros ever. So this is my "chiptune tribute" to one of the greatest bands in the multiverse.

Finally got around to making "ver.B"

This time around, I wrote this in FamiTracker, a module editor that emulates the sound hardware of the Nintendo FamiCom and synthesizes the voice channels more faithfully. I was still able to stay within the limits of the system's hardware but still expand polyphony, thanks to MMC5, which simply adds two more square-wave voice channels.

[Back To The Future] Huey Lewis and the News - The Power Of Love - 8Bit [LarryInc64]

This is one of those songs that I never finished, found laying around one day and decided to release it. Its actually from February so its pretty old. I used Magical 8 bit plug for the NES sounds, lol. 

Originally this was going to be on an EP that also had "Super Smooth", "Hometown Theme", and "Funky's Revenge" as well. So I guess my "EP" is done.

Parts of this are an homage to the nimbus land theme ("lets do the fooka fooka!") from Super Mario RPG.

This was my first attempt at playing with FamiTracker's VRC7 chipset emulation. While there were limitations in the chipset's polyphony, the sound came out all right. Unfortunately, the chipset wasn't able to pump out much in the low-end frequencies, so I boosted the bass after I converted the file from FTM to MP3.

I like this song solely because it is in an odd time signature; 10/8 is pretty strange but it does sound hella good.

Despite this being able to run on almost any YM2413, I made this using the Famicom's VRC7 chip, which is a trimmed-down YM2413, which itself is a cost-reduced YM3812. Crazy, huh.

The Wood Shop

I took inspiration from the unused version of this song in the Game Gear version of Sonic 1 and gave the song a more energetic beat. I personally prefer the Game Gear version of Marble Zone's BGM to the Genesis version.

The instruments i used are also straight from the Flying Battery Act 1 cover i did a while back, so that's a thing, i guess.

My first track! I made this in FamiTracker, and it is based off of "Pastorale" by Nikolai Kapustin. I've been following tutorials on FT for a while now, and about two weeks ago I took the decision to remake one of the demo songs included with the download. I chose to remake Pastorale.
I am currently writing lyrics for some songs, and, while I can barely sing louder than a baby can, I'll be posting the lyrics on my Instagram page, which is in my profile description.

One of my favorite 90s hits, now as an NES-styled jam! I started working on this a couple of days ago and actually already uploaded it as an unfinished project, so here's the finished version, now with verses and a few little tweaks to make it sound more spot on.

Made using a Winebottled version of FamiTracker on a MacBook Pro. I had a lot of fun making this, as 50s doo-wop is one of my favorite genres of music- and this is one of my favorite songs in that genre! I'm really proud of it as well, as the backing chord harmonies are a lot more rhythmically complex than a lot of my previous 8-bit covers. I created the thumbnail image using a crappy online image editor, and the custom Mario sprites were also made by me. Made through Famitracker using the VRC6 module in probably less than 12 hours. I actually started working on this a month or so ago, but I just sort of gave up on it after like 5 minutes. Today I ran into it again on my laptop and decided "eh... why not?" so I cranked the rest of it out throughout the course of today. Blondie has to be one of my favorite early new wave bands alongside The Police, so this was a fun one to work on. Hope you all enjoy it! Created this in FamiTracker via the VCR6 module, and within the span of around 4-6 hours during school and at home instead of doing homework. Most of my other covers I've published have been of older pop songs from the 50s-90s, so it was interesting to take a shot at a more contemporary- no less really fun doing one of my favorite songs from the past year. I decided to try some new stuff with this one– particularly using custom-made DPCM samples for the "I'm the baaaaad guy... Duh!" part. I also made a bit of a bold move and decided to use the triangle section for the main melody in the chorus instead of the bass part like it's usually used for, which I think paid off surprisingly in the end. This was a fun cover to work on, and I'm proud of how clean-sounding it ultimately turned out. I know I probably think this about every latest chiptune remix I make, but I'd have to consider this my best, or at least one of my best covers I've made in the past 2 or so years. I started it back at the beginning of the year (before the pandemic happened of course), and posted a few infrequent updates to r/chiptunes on Reddit.
