A short and humble prelude, dedicated to @Syntaleta and her family and country. You are in my heart.

Written for the many lovely talents and the hearts full of love and beautiful creativity, that are brutally burned down and at the same time freeze bitterly in worst dire need. They lie in rubble and ashes with their deeply wounded souls full of the worst pains.

I used the well-known accompanying chords of the national anthem as the sole basis for the prelude and arranged it and the well-known second part for:

Lyrics derived from Antonio de Guevara (1480-1545). The text was written around 1539 in Latin. De Guevara had already had his experiences at the court of Charles the Fifth. The section from which the text is taken was a treatise on the government court, a critique.

Back in the day we used to get together fairly often with our large family and spend the evening listening to the dads play & sing country songs. This is one of the last such gatherings at my parents' house in Montreal, and features my uncle 'Moss' singing and playing guitar, and my dad accompanying on guitar, and picking the solo spots. 

I recorded the entire evening, and hearing these songs, and the voices of my aunts & uncles and especially my mom brings back a lot of memories. Sometimes I would join in on singing a bit of harmony, or quietly playing along on harmonica, but this time I just sat back and enjoyed the show.
