Raphael Muhr is a very talented German composer and he sent me the music to this track Beidh rath ar Éirinn and asked if i could come up with some lyrics We have been working on this song for a while now and in the end decided to go back to the 1st Version which had the feel that we liked best . So here it is. The original version of the song is on Raphael's page ..link above . thank you Raphael for giving me this opportunity to write the lyrics and sing your very beautiful song.  

This is an Anti-war song, set in Ireland during 1916 Easter Rising and referencing  the song "When Johnny comes Marching home" , except in  many cases Johnny didn't come marching home. The story in the song is told from the eyes of a woman who is standing in a station waiting for her beloved to return but in her heart she knows that isn't going to happen. This song is dedicated to all the people in the Ukraine fighting for their homes, their freedom and for their Lives to let them know that we are praying for them and that we support them in their struggle for freedom.

Lyrics . 
She stood with the crowd to see if Johnny Came marching home 
As the solders disembarked the Army train she stood alone 
She held her breath and clutched her heart and she prayed in the pouring rain 
That sweet johnny  would come home and that  she would see him once again 
As the band played a march she thought she saw him get off the train 
Head held high, shoulders back so she ran through the morning rain 
With tears in her eyes she called his name johnny are you home again 
But all she heard was the army band as it played a sad refrain 

And  all she heard was a whisper on the wind and all she felt was pain 
For she knew that johnny didn’t make it home and she would never see his sweet sweet face AGAIN 

as the station emptied she stood  on the platform all alone
For Johnny didn’t make it back poor lad never made it home 
And her poor heart was broken like the rocks on the shamrock shore 
For she knew that she would see her Johnny anymore  

She roamed the mountains and the valleys wide 
She was the banshee of the night she wailed and she cried 
Until the day that johnny came to take her form this land
She kissed his lips, she held him tight and then she took his hand.

Once upon a time our world was fearsome - it was populated by some folks
who were convienced that force was needed
for to tame the people in their land
But soon they learned that this is no way to go

The miserable year twenty two a bloody war was raging in the world
but the warlord had realized that it was no point
in slaughtering the people nearby
and furthermore a nasty virus had attacked the whole globe

But now for several years the presidents and the kings are wise
they have noticed that laws are abided 
when democracy rules their land
they now know that wars and hostality make people poor

Hi guys, when I made this song I had no idea where the journey would take me. But I just wanted to try something crazy. When the song was done, I didn't know what to think of the song, but somehow the song puts me in a good mood. And since I couldn't find a song title, I just called the song "I don't know".
