In our lives, we are granted the opportunity to witness the departure of our loved ones. Some depart through doors, never to return, yet still exist somewhere. Others leave suddenly, unexpectedly. Yet some depart when we are somewhat prepared, for their age predisposes them to it. However, there are also departures more challenging... when we observe the tree of the mind of a beloved, from which memories' leaves fall, and even the freshest, youngest cannot hold on to it. We cannot help, we can only watch how they fall...

Composing this little piece was very personal. It was combined with the realization of a fact from my immediate surroundings. I left all imperfections of my playing because of how I felt at that moment. It wasn't an improvisation, it was an interpretation of a theme that I've developed few minutes earlier. London based violinist and composer of modern classical, folk, ambient and filmic sounds with background experience playing in classical orchestras as well as performing and recording with contemporary folk/rock bands and as a soloist. 
I have written and recorded soundtracks for two short independent films ‘Solitude’ and ‘Impulse’ and my music has been used to accompany an artwork display at an exhibition. 
I regularly record as a session musician for other artists music and film media. This has recently included recording for Active Light Sound on The EP ‘Dystopia’ and the short film ‘The Edge of the World’ as well as co-writing and recording the string parts for composer and producer Patrick Zelinski’s soundtrack to the Canadian documentary ‘Able’
