Sezrah Sylvan (Exeter) and Si Slowraiders (Newcastle)  form the collaborative duo, Sezrah/Slowraiders.

The pair had previously worked together on one of Si's albums. His previous moniker "Mothboy" (bass heavy, breakcore, hip hop, downtempo) had many releases on the label Adnoisam. His album "Bunny" (2010) featured a track with Sezrah's vocals. 

They formed in Autumn 2014, originally as am informal "one off" studio project. The tracks progressed into a more organic and darker sound, which fitted comfortably with the pair. The "one off project" became a 4 track demo EP, which is a blend of bass heavy doom rock with a twist of psychedelic dronescapes, shaken up in a post rock vacuum of despair. 




Terminal 2 Recordings is a showcase for eclectic sounds from Tokyo, London and Portland, Oregon. Established in 2015, it features music from artists including Signal Box, MMA, Lost in a State, Mark R. Heath, Songs of the Sea, Mayumi Ishida, Mischievous Giants, Shoko Yoshida, Jupleberries, Sheonator Pseak, Paul Rowland, Language of the Birds, Low-Velocity Society and Watsona, with a number of guest collaborators.

What is VÄLVĒ? Folk lullabies re-imagined by the BBC Radiophonic Workshop. Found-sound collages interrupted by Welsh language orations and sudden outbursts of fuzz bass. Gleaming synthpop workouts that collapse into swirling dreamscapes of sax and harp. Tiny sounds opening out onto the epic. Hi-tech and no-tech, deployed with equal measures of discipline and abandon. Carefully sculpted disorder. Uncanny geometries of noise and melody. Dizzy and gleeful and drawn in notebooks. That is VÄLVĒ.

VÄLVĒ  started out as the outlet for composer/performer Chlöe Herington’s compositional work using text and image as the starting point for scores. She collects sounds and diagrams, composing predominantly for bassoon, saxes, electronics and found sounds to explore synaesthetic memory and collective experience.

The band has morphed - from what originated as a solo project, performing mainly in art galleries, it grew to include Elen Evans on harp.  After moving from galleries back into music venues, they have been joined by Chlöe's Chrome Hoof comrade, Emma Sullivan on bass, microkorg and vocals.  Live, the music traverses the realms of noise and improv into songs, punctuated with found sounds and eases into spacey soundscapes.

Bloom de Wilde is a London based singer-songwriter, producer and visual artist. With dreamlike poetic yet uplifting lyrics and colourful mesmerising melodies, she brings to life a playful world of imaginative revelations.
