It was 1995, I had already acquired my trusty Alesis SR-16 "Dr No" but not hooked it up in stereo yet on my 4-track cassette recorder.

This track is one of the more fun I made in those days, thought I'd share it here. For the occasion, I properly mixed and mastered it in such a way to keep it's original character intact as much as possible. I did put *some* fancy effect to stereoize the vocals a little, and there is a subtle stereo reverb on the drums.. Things like that, but that's just to make it palatable for the modern crowd. This is after all an original recording, no edits, no overdubs.

Thinking about putting an entire 'legacies' album together. Would anyone be interested in that?

This is an original song taken from a live recording of Craig singing with guitar and then adding Nat’s wonderful harmony vocals, piano and other production touches to give it the best presentation. It captures the dread of a loved one departing, the heavy anticipation of the moment of final departure, never to return. Could be applied to numerous situations.

This is a picture from "Stens huvud" in the south east of Sweden.
Approximate translation into English:

i can see all the trees reflected here
they seem oblivious to what we humans do

the most beautiful flowers exist
I have to be very careful so they are always there
when all our children go out to see how everything is

What is it
that splashes at the edge of the stream
it looks like a beaver building a nest
he tears and drags on a branch which he places as a roof
 
Over there under the trees
small birds can take a dip
and they chirp and they play for a while with each other
and they haven't seen me yet because I'm as quiet as a mouse
