Titan Sphere

The Uel are small, grey, legless, collectively-intelligent creatures of the moon Tkoru. Making music is how they communicate and co-ordinate. Thousands of them sing as they flow over one another, intertwining their melodies and themselves, building upon each other to imitate the virtual visiting human forms in front of them.

The Uel

Not so fast (qb bills/falsestart)

In honor of Pi.  This is created from the sound of a wine glass being rubbed by a wet finger and the sound of a tabla drum.  There are three loops.  Each loop goes through the first one hundred digits of Pi where each digit of Pi controls the pitch and amplitude of each note.  In the first loop, there are 3.14 seconds between each note.  The second loop starts 3.141 seconds after the first.  In the second loop, there are 3.1415 seconds between each note.  The third loop starts 3.14159 seconds after the second.  In the third loop (the tabla), there are 3.141592 seconds between each hit.  Finally, the duration of this piece is 314 seconds (and some change).  I hope you enjoy it. Peace.

When I sat down to write this song, I knew I wanted to explore my own battle with body dysmorphia. It's been a constant struggle for me, with feelings of insecurity and self-doubt creeping in every time I compare myself to others. But I wanted to create something that would connect with others who may be going through something similar. And so, this deeply personal and vulnerable piece was born - a musical reflection of my innermost emotions and experiences, bared for all to hear.
