This song began all the way back when Manuel was 16 and found love that summer with a girl named Carmen. He remembered her, though, and wrote this song about her all these years later. The title of the song means "Your name has the song," and the lyrics spell out the girl's charms using the letters of her name. Check out the lyrics and the translation below. 
  Using that inspiration, Manuel came up with the song structure and the vocal melodies to a rudimentary drum track with his electric guitar. He then asked Josh if the group would be interested in taking it on. Josh, never being one to refuse a challenging piece of music, and always on the lookout for interesting musicians with whom to collaborate, accepted his kind offer and created a project for the rest of the Eclectic Collecitve to join. He started the whole thing off by adding his bass, to which Ken added his innovative drums, to which Josh redid his bass, as is the typical process in the EC.
  Next up was JJ, who you'd think he'd grown up with Spanish music the way he added the horns, accordion, and piano. Then Stephen stepped in and added his psychedelic and intricate acoustic guitar to the stew. 
  It was all done, except for the mix at this point. Manuel did the honors, and did it very expertly. Stephen mastered it to give it more volume and dynamism, too, as he always does. 
  This was the first, but we hope not the last, time the EC has collaborated with Manuel, although we're all fans of the incredible music on his page. He was a true delight to work with, giving honest, encouraging feedback and helping us shape his song to meet his vision. We hope you enjoy listening to this song as much as we enjoyed creating it.

"SI TOI AUSSI" est une chanson écrite en 2008 . Nous avons gardé la mélodie d'origine et j'ai réécris les deux derniers couplets .Sur les refrains une star de la chanson française sous son vrai nom m'accompagne au chant . Le thème est simple , des questionnements autobiographiques qui se superposent avec deux questionnements , un passé et un futur .
“SI TOI AUSSI” was written in 2008. We kept the original melody and I rewrote the last two verses, a french pop star with a  accompanying me on the chorus. The theme is simple: autobiographical questions superimposed on two questions, a past and a future.

When I heard Rekha years ago, I couldn't stop thinking about how I could adapt a song to her voice.

Thanks to Delaflor, who had already collaborated with her, she was able to contact me and offer me a song. After several weeks of work, Manu added an excellent guitar riff that partially camouflaged my horrible synth guitar.

This is a song about the impermanence of relationships. In my younger years I assumed the people I knew would always be there and I would mourn the loss of those who drifted out of my life for whatever reason. Now I see it’s the temporary nature of relationships and everything else in life that gives it meaning.

"I will be there" is one of my favorites. Hubert once again put all his vocal intensity and his skillful playing in this song. I am proud he achieved exactly the atmosphere I was hoping for. A tune full of confidence and desire when one suffers from drifting spiritually into darkness and there is someone to hold on to and  someone who is able to lift you up again.
