This arrangement is a Tribute to the composer John Murphy  and emphasises the emotional impressions, as seen from high up in the atmosphere, of the Sun rising behind earth.
I used electronic sounds and effects behind the the electric piano, guitar and voices.

In music, the term “arabesque” refers to a highly ornamental melody whose free unfolding expresses a slowing of time within the composition. Unlike the straight line, which is the most direct path from A to B, the curving movement of the arabesque creates an effect of circular phrases that conjure perpetual melodies. Debussy referred to "arabesque" as a piece of music with exquisite detail and clear repetitions of ideas and artistic balance. This term is used for various kinds of melodic, contrapuntal, or harmonic ornamentation. Several composers including Claude Debussy and Robert Schumann have used this term as a title for compositions. TM PIANO #23

We are now entering the holiday season and soon a new year!  It has been a very difficult year for me personally.  But musically, I believe I am writing some of my best music.  I am inspired everyday by all of you who have followed and supported me on SoundCloud.  I have found many wonderful friends from every part of the world!

I believe what the world needs is more songs about love for all living things and the earthly treasures around us. The power of love is magical, mysterious, and miraculous!  And, it is essential to our survival like water and the air we breathe.  I believe that through the universal language of music, love can heal, bring joy, and create an invisible chain that pulls all of us together, not apart.  I vow to write only songs about love in 2024.  Will you join me?

A Little About Me...
I compose music on the piano. My inspiration comes from my dreams and my life experiences and is strongly influenced by my years of classical training. I am starting to get to know the Soundcloud community and never thought anyone would listen.  I love every genre of music, and the talent and creativity are mind-blowing! I started composing later in life after many years of teaching.  Music, for me, must capture the imagination and emotions. When I play or listen, I want to feel something that brings joy or meaning in the moment. I am very grateful to all my listeners and the gift of music in my life!

For those of you who follow me on Soundcloud, I have been experimenting with adding tracks to my piano compositions.  I create and record everything using a Yamaha 660DGX, including the instrumental tracks built in to the keyboard, then I edit on my laptop using Sony Sound Forge Music Pro.  It's a simple set up, and I have lots to learn.  Thank you for listening and helping me in my musical journey!
