When you’re brainstorming ideas for album covers, you never really think they might involve placing yourselves in the middle of a road as traffic bears down on you.  However, that is precisely what we did.
Now I’m not one to tell tales but it was all Gal’s fault.  He thought our front cover  should feature an image of the entire band, which was quite compelling aside from the fact that we lived in London, Hans in Hamburg and have in reality never met.  But Gal had a mate called Dan (who lives in Norfolk, hence the title), a professional photographer whose comprehensive knowledge of Photoshop could bring the three of us together.
We’d always loved the pre-fame, Astrid Kirchherr portraits of The Beatles, taken during their club-playing, Hamburg days and two of these became our template - in focus subject occupying the foreground, covert and blurred figure (in our case, 2  figures) in the distance.
And so it was that, armed with a pin-sharp shot of Hans, we met with Dan to photograph the background scene which, as outlined previously, was in the middle of a busy side road.  Camera in hand, Dan teetered on a plastic crate as Gal and me  dodged back and forth to avoid a plethora of oncoming vehicles - everything from lorries to mobility scooters - who were, on the whole, very accommodating in the circumstances. Some even smiled and waved - at least I think that’s what they were doing…
We owe Dan so much, not only for his consummate skills and kindness but also for laying his life on the line in the name of art.  This song is for him.  (Terry Reeves)

Welcome friends and to my profile! I hope to celebrate 300 original tracks on Soundcloud this year!  Thank you for listening and helping me in my musical journey. Recently I was blocked out of SC because of a 2-factor authentication problem. It has been a difficult year for me personally.  I experienced a very bad fall in July... broken bones and the works!  I'm finally whole again and the music has kept me going.  I am infinitely inspired and humbled by the extraordinary creativity I hear from your music each day and the wonderful friends I have encountered from every part of the world! THANK YOU! I am so very grateful for your support and the gift of music in my life!
 
What Inspires Me...I am inspired each day to compose music that touches and connects the listener in meaningful ways that are personal to their own experiences and feelings.  I believe what the world needs is more songs about love for all living things and the earthly treasures around us. The power of love is magical, mysterious, and miraculous!  And, it is essential to our survival like water and the air we breathe.  I believe that through the universal language of music, love can heal, bring joy, and create an invisible chain that pulls all of us together, not apart.  

A Little About Me...I started composing in 2016  after not touching the piano for many years. A career, raising a family and just every day life got in the way of making music. After retiring as a music teacher in the public schools, I started dreaming of playing the piano again and my years of classical training slowly came back to me. I love every genre of music, and the talent and creativity on SoundCloud has inspired me at every level!

For those of you who follow me on Soundcloud, I have been experimenting with adding tracks to my piano compositions.  I create and record everything myself using a Yamaha 660DGX, including the instrumental tracks built into the keyboard. Then, I edit on my laptop using Sony Sound Forge Music Pro.  It's a simple set up, and I have lots to learn.  I am not afraid of receiving feedback if you have any to give.  Sometimes, it's the most simple thing I may be doing wrong that changes everything!
