Alex Sparrow is a DJ who has come up through the ranks of the Cork scene in recent times and forged a particular sound that is very hypnotic and rhythm based. Taking inspirations from the likes of DVS1, Oscar Mulero and RRose, he creates moments of tension that allows the listener to be drawn into the mix. 
Being taught by the likes of Doug Cooney and Sunil Sharpe in B.I.F.E, Alex has gained a wealth of knowledge from some of Irelands finest and put this into his mix where he goes into the deeper side of techno. Having recently launched and become a Co-founder of the new Cork based collective Bare Bones, the future is looking bright as he tries to display his sound to the mass’.

@GonzoCorp is honored to present the third instalment of INTO THE GONZOVERSE, my new podcast series focusing on the GONZOVERSE, which explores the BPM WITHOUT BORDERS philosophy. 

It is simple: each genre/sub-genre has something for me to offer on dancefloor around the globe since the past decade and I take every opportunity to indulge in it. YES, DECADE! My first public appearance was almost ten years ago and this series is the fruit of my endless dedication. 

Every episode is also featuring graphics from my upcoming comics mini-series of the same title .(work-in-progress). Physical copies will be distributed during my performances throughout Summer 2024 on a dancefloor near you.

The descent into lower BPMs range continues in this new episode, which explores the realm of TECH-PROG. The featured artists & labels are quite similar to my previous ITG release, they definitely gravitates around the Zenonesque subgenre. That being said, the sound signature is clearly more minimal & deeper that will surely mesmerize you with its technoid structure, hypnotic rhythmics and heavy sub-bass. Hope you enjoy this new episode and remember... STAY FROSTY FOLKS!

Nicolas Garcia was born in the neighborhood of Parque Patricios Buenos Aires, Argentina on February 7, 1990. At his young age I frequent nightclubs related to electronic music, listening to artists such as Danny Howells Hernan Cattaneo and Nick Warren, references of his style.
His love for music led him to become a DJ and Producer.
In 2016 he released his first track on an album released by the label Suffused Music - Initializing, Vol. 11 In 2018 he edited for the record label Superordinate Music - Eastern Forest (Original Mix) among other works.
He currently leads a musical cycle called "Anesthesia" of great repertoire in the south of the province of Buenos Aires.

Púca is a mythological concept based on the Island on Ireland, it is a creature that would pick up people at the end of a night and take them on a wild ride through nature and different dimensions before dropping them off at the place where they were first found. That’s also the  idea with mixes to take the listener on a wild sonic trip, but to try leave them in a better mood than when Púca found them. 

Having lived in Amsterdam for six years and played across different venues around Europe, the sound of Púca is more refined and confident. Able to push their way of thinking through many different styles and tempo, the journey is always ever evolving. Using 3/4 decks they flip between moods and build tension, Púca is a true storyteller.

We proudly present to you the 50th Far Blue concept which is created by Tokyo based ambient DJ Chris SSG. We’ve been a fan of Chris’ mixes for quite a while now, so we are more than happy that he took the time to curate this special episode.

‘I sat in the park and watched the sun set. The blues and oranges blend and blur together, the day gently shifts into night. With that experience in mind, I return home and make this mix. The music captures that transitional zone: beats are present, not for dancing but dreaming. The transitions are gentle and simple, allowing for a sense of space and openness. Old and new, the records are joined together by feelings and memories, the past circling back on the present.’

I headed on a vinyl noodle for a couple of hours through the ol' wax stacks. Not really mixed, imagine it more like a radio show with no host and tunes from all over the place.

Although Marco Roehrich focused his studies on the cinematographic field, his gaze and his feet always pointed towards electronic music. Thus, when he had the opportunity to develop the LAUT project, he poured his soul into it and, not surprisingly, he ended up creating what most electronic music geeks consider the best club in Barcelona nowadays.

Eclectic, without clinging to any specific genre, lover of different rhythm and always defined by a critera that tries to surprise without sacrificing quality, Roehrich is a reliable and daring selector.

This dj set is a recording of Roehrich’s debut at his beloved LAUT, on the 22nd of March ‘24, warming up the dancefloor before the b2b set of Vanity Dust and Headbirds.

Israel is only the executioner, every nation which has armed that country in the past year is an accessory to that genocide, an accomplice, a facilitator.  We cannot talk about war crimes because when you target unarmed civilians, mostly women and children, we are talking about a massacre, like terrorists do, not a war. The people who orchestrated that massacre, in the US, the most duplicitous, followed by those of the UK, Germany, France, and probably a few lesser ones should be tried for crimes against humanity just as well as Netanyahu and his cabinet, because it has been going on for two years, generously reported by media of all kinds, so the enablers knew exactly how the arms were to be used, as a tool for revenge, domination, and humiliation of the Palestinian people.  The conflict has ceased to be about the defense of anything for months.

The parties responsible have made a mockery of decency, morals, fairness, proportion, or justice, not to mention empathy.  Of what little there was, these concepts will be a lot longer to come back than they were to be struck down.

Same phone number, same email addresses, and they still claim that they can't verify my identity.  I created that account about three years ago as a substitute to my regular account which SoundCloud temporarily closed.  They closed it as part of some upgrade procedure in their system, the result of a bug that affected many accounts, about two years ago.  Since SC did not inform its users I didn't know if that was permanent or not, so I created that other account which I can't access. You can't see it because of the angle with which I took the shot, aiming down, but beyond those blocks is the sea.  To the left is the Mediterranean, to the right is the Atlantic Ocean.  No it's not Gibraltar, but a little bit further West. ... Actually I checked recently and it is further North more than West, I thought I was facing South when in fact I probably was facing the Atlantic ocean, which is why I suppose the waves were of a decent size where we were.
