One for the ruder darkrooms and warehouse backrooms, ‘Omnia Vanitas’ gives a murky taste of the Lowlife Cartel’s flavours, covering something like Beau Wanzer on a garage tip with HonealoÌ√me’s ‘QLLC1312’ and a low flying speed garage missile in ‘Fordyzm’ featuring killer hushed vocal by MC Supreme Cam, while Solotape swangs out on a Hard Drum/UKF tip with ‘LFJ2’. Parisian don of the Dawn Records (Ronce, Art Crime), aka Hajj lends a deeper touch with the scudding dread jungle collage of ‘Tru Man Cry’ and Buttechno also takes it there with a cold ambient techno tonker beside the dungeon rap flex of Canada’s 2Beast & Ko$te, produced by Hexmane.
