Once an infamous host for underground raves in Berlin, Sarah Wild is now a DJ and producer. Her energetic sets oscillate between acid basslines and piano elements. Sarah has already released on @returntoforever1 @correspondant,  @permvac, @dessert-berlin @feinestier and her own label @midnightoperators.  When she was a girl her father took her on tour with his surf-rock band. She grew up hanging out in backstages of clubs and venues all around Europe. Not only through this first touring experience Sarah was always surrounded by music. She learned saxophone and piano supported by her grandmother who is also a singing teacher. All her youth Sarah played in bands and was part of several jazz projects. Also her passion for electronic dance music developed at this time. Sarah was born and raised in Jena, a former east-German city who became popular for its delicate scene of electronic music. She quickly became part of it as a dancer and also started her first little projects as an artist. Sarah Wild started her solo project in 2016 and has been touring in Europe, Mexico, Panama and Guatemala.

Volzigt’s musical journey began when he picked up a guitar for the first time. It was then that he discovered an unquenchable thirst for music. This initial spark led him down a rabbit hole from which he never looked back.

Influenced by his early love for hip-hop, house, and the unmistakable groove of disco, Volzigt started out playing vinyl and has navigated through a diverse array of musical landscapes. After years of experimentation and evolution, his productions and DJ sets have crystallized into a sound that is deeply melancholic, uplifting, occasionally tinged with psychedelia, and always rooted in the darker side of organic house.

As a co-owner of We Are Obscure, an event organization and record label, Volzigt plays a pivotal role in curating a broad spectrum of electronic music, with a particular focus on the more obscure and nuanced aspects of organic house. He is also one of the key figures behind the evolution of Club Escargot, an event that has been instrumental in developing the downtempo scene in Amsterdam, shaping it into a vibrant and essential part of the city’s subcultures.

Volzigt has graced the decks of major clubs in Amsterdam and Berlin, bringing his distinctive sound to some of the most renowned venues. His music has found a home on respected labels such as Baikal Nomads, Obscure Records, and trndmsk, earning him a reputation for producing tracks that are as emotionally deep as they are sonically rich.

As an artist, Volzigt continues to push the boundaries of his craft, constantly seeking new ways to blend melancholy with euphoria, creating an immersive experience that resonates long after the music has stopped.
