We are The Heisenberg Compensators, two electronic music producers and instrumentalists from Eindhoven, The Netherlands. Consisting of Stefan Robbers, who released on various record labels for many years, including his imprint Eevo Lute Muzique and Allard Krijger, composer and multi-instrumentalist, affiliated with the COM foundation.

We are creating ambient/postrock/shoegaze/chillout songs using mostly analog hardware, modular synthesizers, acoustic and sometimes exotic instruments.

Regarded upon his 2006 arrival as a promising beatmaker looming in the shadows of J Dilla, Madlib, waterfalls and Dabrye, Steven Ellison -- known as Flying Lotus -- nullified all comparisons only two years later with Los Angeles. On that album, his first of five for the Warp label, Ellison distilled a uniquely crisp, spasmodic, and heady sound with elements of hip-hop, avant-garde jazz, IDM, and dubstep. While the abovementioned producers fueled Ellison, he had also been excited as a youngster by the '90s West Coast rap classics that combined programming and live instrumentation. His sound continued to develop as he put his own twist on the approach, recording with a crop of jazz musicians including the indispensable likes of bassist Thundercat and strings master Miguel Atwood-Ferguson. This process began with the turbulent 2010 set Cosmogramma and peaked in terms of acclaim in 2014 with You're Dead!, which crashed the Top 20 of the Billboard 200 and spawned the Kendrick Lamar collaboration "Never Catch Me," a Grammy nominee for Best Dance Recording. Ellison devoted a few years to various forms of film work and the operation of his revered Brainfeeder label, and returned in 2019 with Flamagra, his second consecutive album to top Billboard's Dance/Electronic chart.

Stefan Robbers has earned considerable respect, both in the Netherlands and abroad, as one of the most versatile and productive musicians in the field of electronic dance music. His techno productions appeared under the names REC (Djax-upbeats) and Con Man (P.i.a.s.), while more melodic techno music was released under the aliases Terrace (Djax, Eevo Lute) and Florence. He also records experimental music under the name Sierra Romeo.

Throughout the years, Stefan has carefully spread out his creativity over a number of musical alter egos. He saved his purest, most minimal productions for REC and Con Man, while the more accessible, melodic and melancholic techno was released under the Terrace name. Experiments with the Roland TB303 bass synthesizer found their place in the live shows and jam sessions of the Acid Junkies, together with Harold de Kinderen. With the Acid Junkies, Stefan played parties and festivals all over the world.

And since 1992 he has operated Eevo Lute Muzique, a record company specializing in abstract and modern electronic music in its broadest form. The label has brought forth over 40 releases during recent years. After a refreshing pause in the period 1998 to 2001 the label resumed its activities last year, with renewed energy and lots of good music on the way! EevoNext is a fully digital web label emerging from the fundaments of Eevo Lute Muzique, one of the most influential techno labels from the Netherlands. Started in November 2006, it brings a bi-monthly release of a featured artist as a high quality download with emphasis on quality and playability. Available from the EEVONEXT.COM web store and established online stores like iTunes, Beatport and others.

Robbersï¿½?? other projects include a concert with a 30-piece symphony orchestra in Jyvaskyla (Finland), a multimedia live show accompanied by video projections for the Tokyo based arts collective Ambient Web, Dutch National VPRO Televisionsï¿½?? Moondive project and collaboration with a renowned Dutch theatre company for live music & acting performances.

To spread the word about his label and music, Stefan has developed an inspiring solo live set that he brings under his techno-alias Terrace. This varied musical performance kicks off in a melodic vein and gradually evolves into a total electronic dance music experience. The live set brings the audience an hour of energetic, funky electronic music: From Detroit to Eindhoven with a smileï¿½?ï¿½

DJ/producer since 1997, Toronto-born accomplice is a proudly genre-fluid selector with deep roots in Montreal’s underground.

From early residencies with iDJ and Junglist Fridays at Blue Dog, to his time in South Korea where he held down slots at Vinyl Underground (Busan), Konkrete Jungle Seoul, and festivals like Pentaport, accomplice has always thrived where bass meets boundary-pushing energy.

Now based lakeside in cottage country north of Toronto, accomplice continues to move dance floors in unexpected ways—bridging decades of influence through sets that blend depth, soul, and surprise.
