Taking his cue from the British blues boom sounds of Free and early Fleetwood Mac, married to the driving guitar style of Rory Gallagher and the sweet sounds of Little Feat and the Allman Brothers, Adam has spent the last decade carving out his own territory between classic rock, blues and Americana. Working in various guises: solo acoustic, session player and with his own band he has developed the consummate ability to switch from sensitive singer-songwriter to full-on blues rocker with ease, as demonstrated in his countless live performances and his output as a recording artist. 

His debut album ‘Small Town Thinking’ was praised by Guitar Techniques Magazine for offering a “whole new perspective on the blues”. The stripped back acoustic EP that followed, ‘Take Your Time’, perfectly captured the essence of his acclaimed one-man shows. ‘Sink or Swim’ sees Adam return to his blues-rock roots with a timeless showcase of Adam’s expressive vocals and expertly piercing guitar work, cementing his unique blend of blue-eyed blues and soulful southern rock.

Ward Thomas, 22 year old twins Lizzy and Catherine, release their second album and major label debut ‘Cartwheels’ on Sony Music/WTW Music. Lead track ‘Carry You Home’, an outright pop classic, is out now. Watch the video here.

Hampshire born and bred, Ward Thomas were barely out of their teens when they became country crossover stars with their independently released 2014 debut album ‘From Where We Stand’ which sold over 25,000 copies, playing 2 UK tours, London’s 02 Arena and Hyde Park in the process.

Recorded in London, ‘Cartwheels’ marks the arrival of two major talents, who write as well as they sing, their trademark harmonies earning them new fans wherever they go. “We have different voices that suit different sorts of songs,” Catherine says. “We call Lizzy the trumpet and me the French Horn.” 

Title track ‘Cartwheels’ was the first song they wrote for the new album and inspired what was to come. ‘It established our new sound’, says Lizzy. ‘Lyrically it was much more grown up than anything on our debut. Sonically it was a move away from country to lots of other influences we grew up with-Fleetwood Mac, The Beatles, KT Tunstall and Taylor Swift’s Red album. We are still influenced by country, we still adore the Dixie Chicks and Kacey Musgraves but this isn’t just a country album’.

Produced largely by Martin Terefe (KT Tunstall, Jason Mraz, Shawn Mendes) with three tracks by Jimmy Hogarth (Amy Winehouse, Paolo Nutini, Sia), it’s one of the most eagerly anticipated releases of the year. ‘Cartwheels’ features 14 self-penned songs that capture a range of emotions veering from the joyous to the heartbroken and everywhere in between. Born in Sydney and raised just southwest in Campbelltown, McCue has toured the world playing her music in Concert Halls, pubs and festivals. She has most recently been based in East Nashville, a thriving songwriting community on the Cumberland River's left bank.


Her music is included in Time Life’s ‘4 Decades Of Folk Rock’ alongside Bob Dylan, The Byrds, etc. and in Starbucks Artist Choice alongside Leonard Cohen, John Coltraine etc.

McCue has also produced other artists including Audrey Auld, Tracey Bunn and currently, Emma Swift and Anne is a talented sound recordist.
