The idea behind my page is to log and showcase the music that has influenced me over the last 35+ years so that my daughter, Ebony, can listen to ‘olden day’ music and hopefully appreciate how good we had it. 

Having learnt my craft in the late 80’s at the age of 12 and teaching myself how to beat match on 1200’s within a week, I felt I had a knack for this DJ’ing thing way before it became fashionable. I would class myself as quite a versatile DJ able to lend my hand to most genres. Hopefully all those years of bedroom mixing and house parties have paid off…but that’s up to you to decide. 

I attempt to capture a constant energy in my mixes regardless of genre and am always a firm believer that the mix is as important as the track itself. I endeavour to create seamless transitions whilst maintaining the energy. During longer mixes a welcome switch in style is sometimes required. In fact different genres warrant different styles of mixing, in my opinion. And monotonous sets do nothing for me. Up and down, peaks and troughs, it’s all about building the listener up and letting them down gently.

Never one to choose tracks based on their popularity or current chart position, I hand pick the tunes I mix because I think they’ll stand the test of time. The idea being that during any of my sets I can pick a point and know I’ll dig that track or mix. Although digitally digging isn’t as rewarding as finding physical vinyl records for me, it is a whole lot easier. That said there are a lot of below par tunes out there to sift through before finding worthy tracks. Then the set process begins…I just approach it as a musical jigsaw.

Long associated with the legendary Hed kandi, he's headlined some of the Worlds most glamorous events including Macau China, Punta Del Este Uruguay and Cape Town, South Africa, not to mention bringing in the New Year at Pacha, Florianopolis Brazil!

He mixes a variety of soulful warm ups, deep house, bass to sumptuous disco and main room anthems. From intimate clubs, beach & pool parties to festivals, his effervescent style never fails to serve up hands in the air action on global dancefloors.

On the production side, Stuart is becoming a household name with many tracks topping the worldwide download charts and was recently voted at Number 29 of the Traxsource House Artists of 2014.

Stuart also mixed, compiled and produced the 'Hed Kandi Taste of' series album, which topped the iTunes download charts.

Over the last few years Tenacious have had regular appearances at some of the finest House Music Events & Festivals in the UK. These Inc Housework at Egg London, Clockwork Orange at Fabric London, We are FSTVL, SYN Fest, House & Classics Festival, We R Fest, Stash Records Event, Bring The House Down, Luvism, My House at XOYO London, New World Festival, Clockstock at Chelmsford Racecourse, Dirty Stereo at Egg London, Alfresco Festival, BOB Fest, Oh So Sexy, Rush, FNUK, Gratitude Music Festival and many more. And internationally they have played events in Ibiza, Corfu and Boston in America.

This has all come after years of DJ'ing from an early age when Dave decided to set up a recording studio with his younger brother Steve and close friend Lewis in 1998 and started making music. Trance was big at the time in 98 and decided to give that a go. With a little bit of success over a few years under the name 'Aptness', and their biggest track called 'The Answer, which Graham Gold signed to his Good as label, which went on to become one of Judge Jules's favourite tracks of 1998 on Radio 1 and Graham Gold's 'Kicking Cut' on Kiss 100FM. 'The Answer' also appeared on various mix albums including Ministry's 'Clubbers Guide to 99, Trance Nation 2 and many more including a Playstation Fifa Football game. During this time they also did a few remixes including an early DJ Tiesto track called 'Theme from Norefjell' on Blackhole Records.

With ever changing scene of dance music over the years and the Trance scene becoming more and more commercial, in 2013 the lads decided to take their productions in a new direction and that's when the name Tenacious was born, focusing on Underground House Music and driving energetic Bass Driven Tech House. Since then Tenacious have had releases on some of the finest quality independent dance labels such as PP Music, Hotfingers, Jeepers, Subteranneo, Influential House, Onefold DGTL, Summerized Sessions, Whorehouse Records and most recently you can find them on Ultra Music, Revoke, Traded Music, Stash Records, Automation Nation, Phonetic Recordings, Freakin909, Cheeky Trax, New State Music, Criminal Hype, Kidology, Kukushka, Fool's Paradise, House Heads and many more.

In a now long forgotten world, many generations ago, a bird like shape emerged from wooded darkness, floating and fluttering, drifting and dreaming. Backlit by a bright glow of iridescent light, the undecipherable form wore a dazzling golden mask. Its long beak swooped down like an inverted horn and since then, people have referred to the mythical being simply as Claptone...

Scott Judge has travelled the UK sharing his passion for House Music. He was born in West Bromwich and introduced to music at a very early age by his father, a music nut, that not only played a guitar with 2 strings on it, he had a collection of Cassette Tape recordings of artists that a library would have been happy to have had. His Dad would mostly listen to Soul, Motown, Blues, Irish Folk, Rock and Disco music at the family home that he shared with his mother and 5 other siblings. This is where Scott Judge's diversity in music stems from. A lover of all sorts of music, Scott Judge's real passion lies in House Music, He has played for brands such has Bedrock at Ministry Of Sound, Unusual Suspects at Sankey's Ibiza, Heroes of House in Birmingham and currently working with the exciting brand that is Housework London. Scott Judge has been lucky enough to have shared a DJ booth with some of the UK's best and because of this he has homed in on a skill set that can only be best described as Very Versatile. Scott Judge plays form the heart and loves to deliver to the crowd, you will see from the energy he creates in the DJ booth and most importantly on that dance floor. With years of experience playing in Commercial Venues he can certainly work that floor. You can expect to hear from one of Scott Judge's sets, Driving High Energy, Vocal, Disco, Soulful, Bass Driven & Classic House that gets everybody moving. Scott Judge also stepped into the production arena. Most of his family either played in bands, sang or followed live acts so it was only natural for Scott Judge to follow the footsteps of his family and make his own music. A few of Scott Judge's track have now hit the top 10 in their respective category on Traxsource's chart and he has even had a no1 in the Tech house Charts. Homing in on his production skills, Scott Judge is quickly becoming a very diverse producer, where you can expect to hear classic house music production to border line Techno and progressive house. Certainly has no boundaries and produces what he feels at the time. Scott Judge is a lover of the 90's retro house music sounds and you can hear some of the synths and pianos you would expect from a track in that era in a lot of his productions.
