Peter Horton, Chansonnier, Gitarrist, Komponist u. Schriftsteller,
studierte in Stuttgart Gesang und in Stuttgart, Berlin, Rio und Cordoba Gitarre. Mit seinen Erfolgssendereihen „Café in Takt“ und „Hortons Kleine Nachtmusik“ schrieb er ein Stück deutscher Fernsehgeschichte. Sein Engagement für Qualität und Vielfalt in der Unterhaltung als Reichtum einer Gesellschaft brachte ihm ungeteilte Anerkennung. Er musizierte mit Weltstars von David Bowie bis Placido Domingo und war einige Jahre Dozent an der Musikhochschule Hamburg. Peter Horton schrieb an die 600 Musikwerke und Chansons und veröffentlichte etwa 60 Platten/CDs und 11 Bücher. Sein ganzheitliches Unterhaltungskonzept nennt er „Philotainment“.
