Janax Pacha is a multi-instrumentalist and most known for his shamanic live looping performances where he bridges traditional indigenous instruments and techniques like shamanic chants, flutes, kalimbas and percussion instruments with modern electronic elements to take the listener on a deep transformative spiritual journey to connect and dance with the great mystery.

In the summer of 2019 during the IN SPIRIT HOLISTIC MUSIC PRODUCTION RETREAT he met Yagum, a multi-instrumentalist and percussion player with african roots. They instantly connected and spent some time together working on music in Sintra, Portugal. After a ceremony with the medicine plant Iboga - which is supposed to be possessing an extremely powerful, benevolent energy and which by the African Bwiti and Pygmy people has been used for thousands of years for physical and spiritual healings, spiritual self-discovery, and to study the Art of Living – this transmission came through to establish a bridge with the invisible plant-spirit world to re-wire us with the innate wisdom of our tribal roots and the healing energies of mother earth. 

In addition to the original composition we find 4 revisions who each carries it's own magic vibration and expands the shamanic journey into uncharted realms of mystic beauty.

KRAUT draws us deep into the roots of mother earth with a mix of magic jungle vibes, bouncy broken beats and a massive bassline.

Saive is raising the energy level even more with a groove that is driving and hypnotic while the soft  hang drum and the oriental flutes takes us to new heights.

NAOBA is lifting the veil and gives us a glimpse into her universe of mystic and wonder. We are wrapped into a cozy blanket of beautiful atmospheres where heavenly synth pads are married to organic percussions.

Arkay Koo invites us into his sonic sancturay welcoming us with dubby chords, a joyful broken beat and soothing healing frequencies.

The young producer, Joseph DeFaria aka J•POOL, originally from the south of Canada, has been living a nomadic lifestyle for most of his adult life. Working in the forests of Canada in the summers as a tree planter, and traveling the rest of the year, Joe started his project "J•POOL" with the goal of creating music that is inspired by the many different natural environments in which he spends his life. His intention is to produce music that will make people move and feel the connection to their innerself and the world around them.

The „Awakening“ EP was carefully composed, blending rhythmic and melodic elements from around the world to form a colourful, meditative collage of sound. Soundscapes of natural environments dance with the instrumentation to create a lush, submersing organic experience.

The history of the EP comes from when I decided to love music completely trying to express what it would show through me. I decided then to put together the things that give me the most happiness in life and so I discovered that music is actually a first-class ticket, direct to anywhere in the universe.    
Everyone is within reach of our friend music, you just have to start the journey and mine begins in the best possible destination: the Amazon.    
I decided to travel to the Peruvian Jungle with my great friend to live a different Christmas in 2018. We traveled to Pucallpa and after many beautiful circumstances we entered fully blessed by the Ucayali River to the Paoyhán Native Community. It was there in this beautiful and magical place, where the main sounds and songs of this album were recorded.    
After weeks of full coexistence with the jungle mother and her people, all that remained was to try to transform such a beautiful journey into a humble and sincere dedication that tries to express how wonderful it was to be present and conscious in that place of the Cosmos.    
 
PAOYHÁN was the place.    
 
The Agúita de Florida, that Noche Previa, the Mapacho and Him, the unforgettable Padre del Bosque are the memories
 
INFINITE GRATITUDE !!!
