This week on Valhalla we have Oots. Oots also known as Kyle, is a 22 year old Producer/DJ from Naarm / Melbourne, Australia. 

Oots burst onto the scene in early 2020 releasing 2 edits and 2 hard-hitting original tracks that have not gone unnoticed. His edits of Headie One and Skepta’s “Back to Basics” and Travis Scott’s “90210” are both pillar tracks reflecting the sound that he possesses. 
Oots has big plans for 2021 including an EP, along with a load of banging edits that he has been able to play at clubs over in Australia. Keep a close eye on Oots as he is one to watch.

WAVE TRAX, formally known as Tiernan Hughes is a 20-year-old DJ currently situated in Liverpool. In his brief career as a DJ, he has already supported artists like Paddy Chambers and Quinton Campbell and has gained attention for his punchy and up-beat house tracks he has produced in the past. He has recently started running his own event in Liverpool with a few friends. 'Reakt Events' offers a blend of disco, house and minimal their launch party is scheduled for the 9th October.

Emir B is a 27 year old DJ and Producer currently situated in Barcelona Spain. He was originally born in Buenos Aires (Argentina) and started his DJ career at the young age of 18. The first project he was involved with was an event called “Witches”, which in a short space of time became one of the most striking and crowded festivals in Buenos Aires. After playing in the most avant-garde clubs in his city, he decided to  to Barcelona to gain new and exciting experiences. Despite only moving there recently Emir has managed to start up his own event “Maquina Total” and label “Mega Records”. Emir B is a music fanatic who incorporates synthesized sounds and ambient notes throughout his sets and transitions through all the eras of electronic music until today.

Sons Of Charlie are a DJ duo based in Cork, Ireland.

The group comprises of Colin Devine and Donnacha Gutteridge from Galway, Ireland. As childhood friends and schoolmates, they always had a keen interest in electronic music and this continued into their teenage years. They began releasing music together in 2018 and quickly broke 1 million plays on Soundcloud, with their music receiving support from Irish and international artists.

Tracks such as 'So Sublime' and 'Give Me' have been huge hits for the lads, garnering over 400,000 plays between them. Their straight-forward, hard-hitting brand of electronic music continues to smash dancefloors across Ireland and worldwide.

Shay Whelan is a DJ and Music Producer from Derry, Northern Ireland. Shay had a passion for music from an early age and took up mixing from the age of 11, using 90s trance to show his love and dedication to creating feel good mix’s. As he grew up he started to sway towards other genres of electronic music, producing House and Lo-Fi tracks as a hobby. Now 20, Shay seems to have found his preferred style, making hard and fast paced techno tracks, swaying from Electro to Hard House which is evident throughout this mix. Age is nothing but a number to Shay, as he has already supported the likes of Tommy Holohan, Trance Wax, BLK & Boston 168. Recently releasing a track on Reboot Records, Shay is a producer to keep your eyes on with him showcasing so much talent at a young age. Enjoy the mix!

Matthew is a Newcastle based DJ/Producer who over the past 5 years has worked his way up from back room warm up sets to supporting some of the biggest artists to visit the city. 



Matthew holds residencies with Concept10 and Block Party but makes regular appearances in venues across the city. Currently focusing on honing his production work ready for when things begin to resume to some form of normality, alongside that he runs his own brand Distrkt which have housed sell out parties across South Shields and recently worked alongside LOOP to host a wall to wall room two at Digital Newcastle. 



He brings a distinctive house based sound  that brings energy and style every time and this is no exception.

Valhalla Radio - Matthew Fenton

As always, it's great to hear such a huge amount of music coming from Ireland, and this week we visit Cork as we premiere the latest track from Sean Drinan, which is an atmospheric house release, and a much needed mid-week perk. 

Sean Drinan is a 23 year old Irish producer and over the last three years he has solely focused on honing his production skills, taking influences from the likes of Mall Grab, Ejeca, FJAAK and Ross From Friends. 

He doesn’t tie himself to a specific sound or genre, with his tracks ranging in style from high intensity, euphoric tracks such as ‘Mega Deal’ to dusty, mellow, lo-fi tracks, which makes for a diverse catalogue of productions.

With releases on Houz and Zone Focus, as well as a number of features on Moskalus and Berlin House Music, he also has a number of self releases via Soundcloud.

Hey everyone!
hope everyone is keeping well. so have been working on some new, different sort of music throughout lockdown. I, like many artists have been struggling to find that motivation and spark, but have been trying new sounds and techniques and am digging producing again. I also have so much to release.. but I just got caught in that artist limbo where I was almost afraid to post tunes? So today that changes! here is a track that I have been working on the past few days. a bit different to my other stuff, but hopefully you'll enjoy.

Dublin Nightlife and Media Project 'Common Ground' launch their label ‘Talamh Records’, with a 15 Track VA. Today, as we premier Sons of Charlie’s ‘Exhibit A’.

Common Ground is a Dublin based Nightlife and Media project. They have gone from strength to strength within the Irish Scene pre-Covid era with multiple events with stacked local line ups. 

The team recently announced the launch of their label 'Talamh Records' (Irish for Grounded) and the VA encapsulates the same ideology that they represent both as a label and as a collective. The VA features 15 tracks from Irish producers such as Tomás, Cnámha, Cedarwood State Trax, Syn, Ozwald, Collie and so on. You can expect to hear a variety of genres that range from deep house, experimental hardcore, techno, hard drum and much more. 

Today we are premiering the Cork based DJ and Producer Duo ‘Son’s of Charlie’s’ huge track ‘Exhibit A’. Exhibit A provides a beautifully produced Trance infused listening experience that is reminiscent of some vintage old school Trance records while maintaining a new polished production value.

Sons of Charlie have risen up through the Irish scene with various gigs nationwide and have become a force to be reckoned with, contributing some huge releases on their Soundcloud since debuting in 2018.
