With a career spanning more than two decades, Rod E has played many banging house and NRG sets at many clubs, including residencies at Verandah Bar, NV, Coogee Bay Hotel, Sky Garden, Martin Place Bar, Star Bar, the now iconic City Live @ Fox Studios and Oxford Street's illustrious DCM.

Her roots trace back to Sydney, where she cultivated her unique sound amidst the legendary residencies of DCM, Blackmarket, Icebox, and Hellfire, plus the honour of a Melbourne residency at Liquid. In 2001, she embraced the musical heartbeat of Melbourne, becoming a resident DJ at Big Red Bus, Therapy, Bass Station, Sondayze and Room680, leaving an indelible mark on the city's dynamic scene.

Jewelz's discography is a testament to her versatility and creative prowess. Having released five critically acclaimed CDs, she has curated sonic landscapes that resonate with fans across the nation. Seamlessly genre-jumping between her trademark dark ‘n’ dirty trance, acid, techno, progressive and psy, her versatility has seen her popularity grow like wildfire throughout the Australian dance music scene. 

Her artistry extends beyond borders, having been flown to New Zealand for guest appearances and making waves in Seoul, solidifying her as an international sensation.

Throughout her illustrious career, Jewelz has graced the stages of Australia's most iconic festivals. From the pulsating energy of Rainbow Serpent and Earthcore to the enchanting vibes of Strawberry Fields and the electric atmospheres of Summadays, Two Tribes, Gatecrasher, Godskitchen, Slinky, Future Music Festival, Pharmacy, Ultraworld, Trance Nation and Ostara Festival’s Bushfire Fundraiser, Jewelz has been a fixture at the behemoths of the festival circuit.

Simon began his public DJ career in 1990, appearing in an eclectic mix of  venues including the Imperial (Sydney), Rock Lily (Sydney), MP's (Gold Coast), Connections (Perth) and Pump (Newcastle), playing a funky house / progressive house style. In 1993 he began playing in more venues along the Sydney Strip, including DCM, The Albury, Taxi Club and Midnight Shift. Throughout the 1990s Simon's popular vocal house style, signatured by long transition mixes and infectious rhythms earned him popularity and a strong following in the competitive club environment. He became well-known in venues such as EP1, Blackmarket (Dayclub, Hellfire), DCM and Spike / Byblos. He also played at a number of dance parties in the mid-90s including "Venus 95" and Sleaze Ball in 1996 - 1998. He played on the Gold Coast (The Meeting Place)until it closed.

Simon is a veteran of the ‘old-skool’ House and House-Techno styles. If you’re on the dance floor at one of his gigs, prepare to be transported immediately into a sublime space. He has an uncanny ability to read his crowd, and often times it sounds like he is playing  just to YOU. It’s a refreshing style, and that makes him very unique in the DJ fraternity.

In 2018, Simon started playing at private dance parties at remote beaches along the Upper Eastern Australian coastline. These are the “World Peace” series - the ones before Covid hit our shores. His signature style still embeds him as a true master of House / Emo-house genre.
