Radiophrenia is a temporary art radio station – an exploration into current trends in sound and transmission arts. Broadcasting live from Glasgow’s Centre for Contemporary Arts, the station aims to promote radio as an art form, encouraging challenging and radical new approaches to the medium. The broadcast schedule will include live shows, pre-recorded features and a series of ‘live-to-air’performances. The majority of the programme will be made up from selections submitted to an international open call for sound and radio works.

Vincent Eoppolo (Ioppolo) is an American composer from Wilmington, Delaware.  Eoppolo’s compositions are a mix of various sound art traditions such as musique concrete, acousmatic music, electro-acoustic music and radio art.  Initially trained as both a Classical and Jazz guitarist,  Eoppolo began composing and recording electronic music in the early 1980’s shortly after the development of MIDI (Musical Instrument Digital Interface) and the introduction of affordable home computers and recording equipment.  During the 1980-90’s Eoppolo’s fixed media compositions were regularly featured on university new music radio programs in the Philadelphia, Pennsylvania region.  Additionally, Eoppolo’s works received recognition in music publications Keyboard Magazine and Computer Music Journal.  In recent years, Eoppolo’s fixed media works have been presented at the New York City Electro-Acoustic Music Festival, Mise_En Place New Music Festival in Brooklyn, Utopie Sonore in Nantes, France and De Natura Sonorum in Rome, Italy.  Eoppolo’s compositions have been released by Moscow based independent music label Meticulous Midgets and his works are regularly featured on new music radio and internet programs throughout Europe and North America.

In some words:
Composer, arranger, producer, multi-instrumentalist. Born in Argentina,
I studied music in Buenos Aires, New York, Boston, Los Angeles and Paris.

For 20 years, I developed an important career as a session and backing musician in Argentina and Europe, playing, among other instruments, the bass, touring and recording with many jazz, rock, fusion, world, Latin and tango bands.

At the same time, I worked as an arranger, producer and musical director with many projects and artists in the USA, Argentina and Europe.

From 1992 to 1997, I performed my compositions live with my own band in Buenos Aires and began a solo recording career with the worldwide release of my first album "The Years Alone" on the North American label Green Linnet/Xenophile. On this album I arranged and performed 11 of my songs written between 1986 and 1993. I played most of the instruments, but included guest appearances by some great South American players.

My recording career continued with "Segundo Ciclo" (1997), released worldwide by Timeless Records, and 12 more albums released between 2000 and 2016.

Currently, I work as an on-demand film/TV composer while continuing to play live and produce.

Coraline Ada Ehmke composes, records, and produces original experiential music from NOSIGNAL Multimedia Lab in The Shambles, Chicago. The Hard Times has described her music as "creepy, haunted, but also a little bit uplifting."
