4 songs of improv. 002 and 006 move around a sequenced synth. 
Everything aside from the sequences is played on keys. 
After improvising each layer, I set up midi to improv the effects. 
It's really an exercise in accepting what comes out rather than being overly critical and never putting music out.

how do i live

This initially started of more of an "art" music experiment, as you can tell from the first 3 minutes. I wanted to work with atonal sounds and create something that evoked feelings of stress and tension. As the song progressed, I thought "why not take it into more experimental electronic direction?" more along the lines of Death Grips etc. Somehow it became an almost 11 minute industrial/techno mind dump. I always play around with these types of sounds from time to time but never find myself releasing anything because the world of techno/psy producers is so critical and precise. I found this being so dark and noisey allowed me to forgive all of the technical audio stuff and just focus on making something that feels right. The spoken word is a reading of The Divine Comedy: Canto's 1-5. The recording actually starts during Canto III when Dante first arrives to Hell.
