Villanova is a staple of music throughout St Tropez, with historical residencies at Pablo and Indie Beach during the Summer season. His unique sound and DJ sets continue to excite and delight guests as they manage the delicate balance of old and new. The powerful vocals and razor-sharp beats invite audiences to immerse themselves in the sounds of Villanova. While many artists are known to play just for entertainment, or some that do it for passion - Villanova does it for both.
He has released several well received tracks on Cocoon recordings, Rebirth, Sapiens, Resonance records, No 19 music and Watergate records and received support from artists such as Jamie Jones, Dixon, Dan Ghenacia, Keinemusik, Agoria, Blond:ish and Seth Troxler.

Mooglie started as a guitarist, bassist, and composer in pop-rock and indie bands, exploring melody, texture, and the energy of live performance. Around 2012, he discovered electronic music, diving into synthesizers, analog sounds, and hypnotic rhythms.

His first solo EP, ‘Prélude’ on Sapiens brought international attention, followed by ‘Voicemail’ on Afterlife and ‘Spacer’, each release cementing his reputation and commitment to music. In 2025, ‘Last’ on Rose Avenue marked another key step in his journey, alongside other releases that shaped his sound.

Afterward, Mooglie paused touring and DJ sets to focus on a more organic, groovy, and sunny sound, collaborating with live musicians in real-time studio sessions. Today, his music blends analog warmth, live energy, and hypnotic electronic storytelling, vibrant and full of movement.

Born into a world where beats and melodies were as vital as the air itself, Moojo's musical journey began in the vibrant heart of the South of France, Nice. From an early age, Moojo displayed an innate connection to rhythms and melodies. He surrounded himself with diverse musical influences, ranging from traditional African & Latin sounds to modern electronic beats, laying the foundation for his unique musical identity.
As Moojo grew, so did his passion for music. He embarked on a relentless pursuit of knowledge, honing his skills in production and DJing. With an uncanny ability to blend many cultural styles of music with contemporary electronic elements, Moojo crafted a signature sound that resonates with audiences worldwide.

 Moojo quickly garnered support from industry giants Black Coffee, Diplo and Blondish. His early releases such as ‘Simba’, ‘Makasi’ EP and Mo Black's chart-topping ‘Lora’ were an instant success, with Black Coffee featuring the ‘Lora’ at Tomorrowland.
‘Desperado’ & ‘Vamonos’ (4.9M & 1.9M Spotify streams respectively), caught the attention of stalwarts like Rufus du Sol, Diplo, and Bedouin.
Upon Diplo's invitation, Moojo remixed ‘Fortress’ released on Diplo’s Higher Ground. 2020 introduced ‘Jupiter’, with Caiiro on remix duties.
His breakout hit, a remix of ‘Moth To A Flame’ by The Weeknd & Swedish House Mafia became an anthem and has over 7.1M streams on Spotify, propelling the track to ‘the most listened-to Afro house track of 2022’.
More recent collaborations include Demayä with ‘Lotus’, Da Capo with ‘Secret ID’ and Bun Xapa with ‘Hate It or Love it’, all under Moojo’s label, Calamar Records.

Founded in 2014, the Sweet Music project was conceived with the aim of promoting electronic music in its entirety, but always with a melodic touch! Our DNA is to publish what we like, both emerging and already influential artists, and the same goes for the labels.

In 2025 we passed the 60 millions listener mark, and Sweet's little sister, Past and Future, our second channel open to all styles, passed the 20 million mark.

With the same passion, we'll soon be celebrating 10 years of the project, and keeping our DNA.

A lot has happened in the last 20 years of dance music, but one constant has been Get Physical right at the sharp end of the scene. The label has become a globally recognised symbol of quality, renowned for its always varied and vital house output. Forming the backbone of the label's vast catalogue is the influential in-house DJ mix series, Body Language. It is a snapshot of exactly where the underground is at and has been assembled by tastemakers such as Azari & III, Catz ‘N Dogz, Dixon, DJ Hell, Francesco Tristano, Nôze and of course label-founders Booka Shade, DJ T., and M.A.N.D.Y..

Next to that there has been a constant stream of innovative, dance-floor ready singles, crossover club classics, seminal remixes and a number of standout artist albums. The label has always stayed true to its house roots, but with a rich array of influences taken from the worlds of disco, deep, tech and melodic house. Along the way, Get Physical´s core artists have been joined by red hot new talents including Alinka, Thandi Draai, PAUZA, Yulia Niko, Birds Of Mind, CIOZ and Monkey Safari. There have also been carefully considered forays into thriving house music scenes in Africa, Brazil, Cuba, Croatia and India: dedicated compilations and EPs have highlighted those region's most exciting new talents and given them a global platform. 

The name says it all: Get Physical tracks could hardly be more moving and corporeal. It was true in 2002, and it will be true in 2025 and beyond.

Indie House Records is an electronic music label from St Tropez, directly affiliated with the Indie Beach club and the Pablo nightclub. The artistic direction is managed by Villanova, who describes the label as follows:

« We've decided to dive in and kick off this new adventure to spotlight the awesome talent of our DJ friends who have been playing with us from day one and other artists we've long wanted to see join our family. There isn't a strict style to expect, the only thing I tell the artists is: "You've played here, you know the drill, send me music that can rock Pablo or Indie Beach" - that's it. So, there will be house, deep house, disco house, tech house, and even techno. The one thing all these tracks will share is that vibe that fits perfectly into our parties. I really hope we can capture and share the passion we've got for electronic music that we’ve championed from the start and brings us fun and joy, season after season. »
