To be honest I really don't like this. The sounds aren't interesting and it's repetitive.

I'll be honest -this is not one of my favourite Violator tracks. the constant low frequency noise is fatiguing. and there isn't much music or structure in it. theres some cool noises about.

After the bad cops, I'll take on the role of the good cop. I don't think the song is that bad. I think it's more down to the approach, which is why some people are unfamiliar with the sound. After the more musical works of the predecessors in the contest, your song seems like an antithesis. But you have some very nice sounds and a rather disturbing atmosphere that goes very well with it. It's not a bad song by any means, provided you get into it. Even if I understand that many people are unfamiliar with it, I like the sound coulage

Honestly, the trouble with Myth is, that it appears effortless to get these sounds, taking away from your deliberate madness, transforming into something that feels more careless than it probably was?!

I don't want to just echo what Taron said, but yeah, this one comes of as more random that deliberate. It may well be deliberate but the chaos is strong. Fun sound design elements shine through.

I would want this track in my film if I were making a soundtrack. It conjures up all kinds kinds of potential strange imagery for me like what the pulse of industry might sound like or a carnival on acid. It's actually grown on me after a couple of listens, but I wonder if it might benefit from a softer intro to draw the listener in and then hit them with the hard stuff. Lovely and bold af track!

i agree that this is soundtrack material. And I would really like to watch whatever it is that this is paired with!

This month's One Synth Challenge uses Dawsome Myth. This synth comes with a massive sound design rabbit hole so this month's effort might be biased towards sound design with a rather more lame composition than usual. Created in Bitwig Studio 5.2.7. All patches were created from init and used various samples including vocal phrases, oohs and aahs, my dog barking, a wok lid, hitting metal things and at least one sample generated with Deep Sampler. There might be a patch in there using audio dragged from another patch too... In addition to that, although most tracks were almost exclusively using the synth's built in effects, the following plugins were also used:
