From Constantinople, already in the hands of the Turks, we headed to the Balkans, European lands whose history has been a series of settlements, dominations and diverse cultures. The work begins with a clear European-style musical cadence, reinforced by synthesizers and a “Bandoneon” that is of German origin. Then, oriental instruments, such as the Duduk, Ney and Zurna, show us the closeness between them, while the continuous changes and mixes between western and eastern instruments try to represent the great mixture of diverse people that populated the area in the same way as the we meet today.

Desde Constantinopla ya en poder de los Turcos, nos dirigimos a los Balcanes, tierras Europeas cuya historia ha sido un vaivén de asentamientos, dominaciones y culturas diversas. La obra empieza con una clara cadencia musical de estilo europeo, reforzada por sintetizadores y un “Bandoneón” que es de origen Alemán. Acto seguido, instrumentos orientales, como el Duduk, la flauta Ney y la Zurna nos muestran la cercanía entre ambos, mientras que los continuos cambios y mezclas entre instrumentos occidentales y orientales tratan de representar la gran mezcla de gentes diversas que poblaron la zona de igual manera que como la conocemos hoy.

In 2010 I began composing again and have not stopped. So, I find myself beginning (restarting?) a composition career rather late in life...but that's OK.  Most of the works posted here were written since 2010.

I make music for fun and to get away. I have multiple styles, although my biggest influence is in electronic music.

I am self taught and learned with Music Studio 2 on a first generation ipad 11 years ago. I have never composed before. Perform more than 80 songs a year for the first 6-7 years to learn about the program and develop creativity to compose. I have listened to different types of music throughout my life and maybe that has helped me.

I still compose only with an ipad (last generation), but I no longer work only with native MS2 instruments since I have expanded my instrument library with programs such as Audiokit, Digital D1, kv331, Sunrizer, etc ...

My music can be downloaded, but not used for commercial purposes (my authorization is required).
