„Lost in Translation“ manifests in driving conversations with the first encounter with what one would call something familiar.

Wir freuen uns riesig für den SALON, für alle Buchties, Dichties und Freunde der ausgelassen freiheitsliebenden Feierei, dass wir Euch mit COCO BERLIN einen echten Vorzeige-Repräsentanten des heftigen Feierns präsentieren dürfen, der wie bestellt auch für einen exzellent charismatischen und zum dancen anregenden House, düsteren Minimal plus Techno und einem Hauch von Wave und Retro steht. Wow!

COCO oder auch COCO BERLIN – sucht`s Euch aus, denn er ist da selbst nicht festgelegt – legt nicht nur ausgezeichnet auf und feiert selbst gern ab, sondern organisiert darüber hinaus seit mittlerweile 20 Jahren zusammen mit seinem Buddy EMPRO die berühmt-berüchtigte "BETRIEBSFEIER" auf der berliner Hoppetosse. Und damit eine echte, für den harten Kern nicht mehr wegzudenkende, Instanz im berliner Rave-Kosmos, deren Energie sich on top einmal jährlich bei der ebenso mitorganisierten ROTE DICHTE entlädt. Einem Chaotival, dass durch seine hohe Dichte an Experten, Hallodries und Eskalationsbevollmächtigten als mehr oder weniger geheimer Branchengipfel der Senior Experts verstanden werden darf...

Ihr trefft COCO aber auch in all den üblich verdächtigen Clubs wie Sisyphos, Renate, Kater Blau, Goldengate, Watergate und außerhalb Berlins all over Europe.

Lieber Hörer:innen des Resocasts, hier nun eine Fanboy-Story!

Auf dem NoG Festival lernte ich sie lieben. Sie bauten gerade ihr modulares Live-Set auf, als uns am Floor klar wurde, dass die beiden aus einer anders schönen Welt kommen. Ihr buntes Equipment, die Synthesizer und der Discoball (!) deuteten schon an, dass uns gleich Großes bevorsteht. Was dann passierte: Flirren — alle wurden wie Nachtfalter angezogen, ein flimmernder Glanz umgab die Bühne und Bäääm!

Ihr Live-Set ist analog, warm, abwechslungsreich, verspielt, dynamisch, eigensinnig, flüssig, treibend, synthetisch und hypnotisch. Ein durchdachtes und komplexes 97 min Stück, das nicht aufzuhören braucht. 

Wir begrüßten sie damit im letzten Jahr auf dem MSNT und spätestens da wurde aus musikalischer Begeisterung auch eine zwischenmenschliche. Deshalb hier ihr Set vom MSNT für euch als Resocast!
