I am very proud and excited to share a recording of my set from the long-awaited return of Dragon Dreaming Festival 🐉

I had the honour of commencing the psytrance session on Saturday evening, Main Stage. This set is not so much a bridge (between artists Kase Kochen and Megapixel), however, it is what I consider to be a nice build into the night psy session.

Massive love and respect for Regen and Dragon Dreaming for hosting one of the most beautiful festivals in Australia. I am beyond flattered and grateful to be a part of this family. I look forward to our future ❤

I am very grateful to once again have played the Suntemple. This dancefloor is always one of the more difficult and unpredictable floors I play. I have played good and well below-average sets on this stage (it's always a humbling experience). This time around I am proud to say I am stoked with my set. I took risks, exercised patience and commit to my plan. I feel this tracklisting is a good representation of an out-of-the-ordinary set while tributing the context of Esoteric's Suntemple stage.

In this episode we are excited to have on board AYRA.

Embedded in Australia’s music scene. Arya's DJ and audio production journey began in 2015. Her passion for psychedelic culture quickly propelled her into the spotlight alongside renowned artists. Since then, she has performed at major festivals around the world, including Mo:Dem, Earth Frequency, Elements, Esoteric, Dragon Dreaming, Splendour in the Grass, Wild Horses, Antigravity, Twisted Frequency and more.

Arya has evolved with a keen appreciation for deep frequencies, cheeky bass-lines, intricate percussion and complex rhythms. She is known for versatility, seamlessly blending elements of darkness, light, hypnotic and playful, crafting sets that are not only captivating but also carry a staunch and heavy intensity, adding powerful depth that draws listeners in.

As you all know we love celebrating female powerhouses from across the world and we're stoked to have such a weapon like ARYA join us today - If you ever see ARYA's name pop up on a lineup near you do yourselves a favour and watch her throw down you won't be disappointed!

Secret (Guardian) Set @ Twisted Jah 2024

This is a set I played this Summer at Existance Festival. Very happy to be dropping some more of these sets after a transitioning year. 2024 will bring more TechElf material and I cannot wait to show them around.
This was a peculiar set, played after a drum and bass session, but I got people grooving in no time. Leaning to the more serious style, I cannot stop researching for this kind of tunes.

About the artist:
Folic State is regarded as one of Indian dance world’s most venerated lurkers. He has played a vital role in shaping the minimal & psy techno scene in India for over a decade. An illustrious producer, his music explores the tension between light and dark, formulating expansive soundscapes among warm, driving percussion. The enigmatic producer has been producing top dance tracks for the last few years, which has won him a strong fan base both, locally and globally. Be it his DJ sets or productions, Folic State weaves a story of sound; decidedly buoyant through its moments of clarity, pensive and introspective when concealed.

This is the album presentation mix of SOUTH ZONE's "Enigma". Jovan was born in 1985 in Pancevo, near Belgrade, Serbia. From a young age, he was drawn to alternative music genres like hip-hop, rock & roll, techno, and psychedelic trance. In 2000, he began his career as a techno DJ, DJ tOt, before transitioning to psytrance.  In 2005, Jovan attended an audio engineering college, where he honed his skills for five years. In 2010, he co-founded the project Middle Mode with Ivan Jovicic (Reversed Logic). His passion for deeper, psychedelic sounds led to the creation of the project Rezonant in 2016, which quickly gained international attention.  Eventually, Jovan returned to his roots with the South Zone project, blending groovy, deep minimal tech with progressive arrangements and a psychedelic atmosphere.

Reflecting on this set, I can confidently say it is one of my favourite and most memorable to date. It was probably the most comfortable I've ever felt in front of such an enormous crowd, and It is one of the most empowering experiences I have had whilst Dj’ing. 

Although this is not the full 90 minute set from the event, it is an hours worth of tracks from within it I'm proud to share :)
