Good track but for me I felt a bit unsatisfied that there was no drop where you brought in a kick for a while or other percussion. The arp is great but just felt like it needed something else for a bit.

For me, this double build-up works perfectly, and it sounds great without any other elements.

Love your nimble twinkletoed sequences throughout. Rhythmically pleasing and really nicely evolving too. Very enjoyable :)  Not so fond of the persistent pressure from the low end wash. Makes for harder listening and sucks color from the twinklies, I think.

Great job adding the layers -- really works well.

These muted arps and soothing pads are a delight.

A small suggestion, it would have had more impact if this opened up even more before dropping back down.

As I think of my 14-year-old daughter, I go back to my own childhood. To my dusty, dimly lit room where I had a small synthesiser and an echo machine on some sort of an altar. I go back to my hopes and fears, my expectations, my goals, my beliefs and my love for music. Often too little time to make my own music because I couldn't stop listening to Bach, TD, Klaus Schulze, Jarre, Vangelis, Pink Floyd and Todd Rundgren.

I recognise so much in her. My beautiful 14-year-old daughter with all her hopes and fears and her love for music.

SixTraq Forest (OSC 188)

Jas wasn't alone this month cooking some hit em (5/4 time, 212bpm). I think the proposed style is better with a wash of breakbeats and distortion, but I did my best given the synth at hand. It was tough. I struggled with making a spread of decent percussions so I had to keep em mostly foundational. Please enjoy the weirdness!

SixTraq was strange to use as a vst. It took a while to get my head around the point of the workflow- likely audibly so. I mostly ignored the agonizingly hardwarelike arp/record layer functions and kept it mostly like a layered polysynth. But, it has quirks, kind of like a misshapen cousin of the Prophet 600. Props to Full Bucket for having the interest and persistence (and patience) to wrangle the code for such a thing. Also I didn't really have any bugs except for the undo thing.

-Mixed with Variety of Sound Plugins (BootEQ, Density, ThrillseekerVBL, TesslaSE, epicPlate, NastyDLA) and a smidge of OTT on the master for good luck.

Story
The Enchanted One: The Lady of Mount Anboto
In the depths of Mount Anboto, where the mist dances like an ancient spirit and the stones whisper forgotten names, lives The Enchanted One. She is no ordinary woman. She is Mari, the lady of time, the weaver of storms, the keeper of the secrets the earth refuses to reveal.
They say she appears every seven full moons, when the sky turns red and the crows fall silent. Her hair is like the smoke of sleeping volcanoes, her eyes like bottomless pits. She wears a cloak of fallen stars and walks barefoot on the moss, leaving no trace.
The Pact
Centuries ago, a young man named Eneko, a wandering musician and dreamer, climbed the mountain seeking inspiration for his final symphony. As he played his txalaparta in the rain, the melody awakened The Enchanted One. She emerged from the cave, wrapped in moonlight, and offered him a pact: “If you play for me the song that does not yet exist, I will give you the gift of hearing the soul of the world. But if you fail, your music will be eternal silence.”
Eneko accepted. For seven nights, he composed alongside the wind, the fire, and the roots. On the eighth night, he played his work: a symphony that blended the lament of the forests, the roar of the seas, and the sigh of the stars.
The Enchanted One wept. Not out of sadness, but of recognition. She granted him the gift, but she also cursed him: every time he played, the world would change. The seasons would be confused, the animals would speak, and humans would forget their names.
