The opening track is Puja—an offering of gratitude for the five elements to set the space for the forthcoming journey. By dropping into the body and out of the head, the listener leaves the average day to day frequencies, entering into a place of ancient remembrance and heightened vibration.

Ganesha opens the roads marking the beginning of the album with the deep Tibetan prayer bowl laying the resonant foundation. The ancient Sanskrit mantra invokes the elephant-headed Hindu god of beginnings, Ganesha himself, offering freedom from obstacles in our path in order to manifest our individual and collective intentions.

Om Gam Shreem Ganapataye Namaha

Translation / Explanation:
Om/Aum is a sacred primordial sound & symbol that signifies the essence of all creation, consciousness or Atman. It is often recited at the beginning of all Hindu prayers.

Gam is the sound representing the energy of Ganesha himself - as remover of obstacles. It is his bija (seed syllable) mantra.

Shreem is a another bija (seed) mantra vibrating the essence of the goddess of wealth, Lakshmi

Ganapataye, another name for Ganesha and is the formal Sanskrit pronunciation of the god's name.

Namaha is difficult to translate literally, but its meanings include “it is not mine” and “in your essence, we bow to you.”
