Batman (DJ & Promoter) A fixture in the underground music scene, Batman’s journey as a DJ and promoter began at the age of 16, when he first got behind the turntables. Drawn to the raw, hypnotic energy of Acid Techno, he quickly immersed himself in the world of fully-loaded 303 sounds. His early performances at CROSSED in Szczecin marked the start of a career that would take him to some of Europe’s most iconic venues, including the legendary 414 in Brixton (London) and Union in Vauxhall. His roots also stretch to the underground rave scene of London, where he played some of the greatest free parties.
As the years passed, Batman’s sound evolved from the fierce intensity of Acid Techno to a more groove-driven, hypnotic approach—one that resonates deeply with those who seek immersive, mind-altering rhythms. Over his two-decade-long career, he has shared the decks with some of the most respected names in the scene, including Sterling Moss, Aaron Liberator, Patrick DSP, Bad Boy Pete, Jethro ThermoBee, Billy Nasty, Jeff Amadeus, Tassid, Marcello Perri, and James Kinetec, among many others.
In recent years, Batman has focused his energy on a new project—a podcast dedicated to uncovering the hidden gems of the underground music world. With this new venture, he shines a spotlight on the artists and stories that have remained in the shadows, revealing the forgotten, yet influential sounds that define the true essence of underground culture. With over two decades of experience, Batman continues to be a vital force in the underground music scene—both as a DJ who moves minds and bodies and as a curator of the raw, unfiltered music that has always been the beating heart of rave culture.

Ruslan Mays is a central figure in the Ukrainian techno scene, with over 20 years of experience shaping his artistry. Originally from Odesa and now based in Berlin, he is a vital member of the queer collective Veselka. Ruslan regularly performs at renowned clubs like Tresor, RSO, OXI, and ÆDEN, as well as legendary Kyiv venues such as ∄ and Otel’. His sets are a ritualistic experience, connecting mind, body, and soul, all while preserving the spirit of the underground.

TECH CLUBBERS PODCAST W/ 10.000 BC

10.000 BC is the alias of Berlin-based DJ and .defaultbox label head Patrick, who has been active behind the decks since 2001. Growing up in a suburban town close to Berlin, he discovered electronic music very early - thanks to mixtapes of legendary clubs like E-Werk and Tresor from his brothers or recordings of the iconic broadcast Rave Satellite. 
Over the years he played at numerous clubs and events in and around Berlin. His sets are strictly vinyl-only, reflecting a deep-rooted love for the raw and physical side of DJing. Whether warming up a room or closing it down, his selection is always tailored for the right moment. 
In 2014 he launched his label .defaultbox. By 2023 he pushed things further with the sublabel SBX. Both labels are known for their uncompromising honest sound. 
With his new moniker, Patrick returns to the core of what drives him: timeless Techno in all its forms - moving fluidly between Dub, Hypnotic, Raw and Classic Techno aesthetics. 10.000 BC is a new chapter for a seasoned artist driven by deep musical conviction.

I’ve always loved the energy of electronic music — raised on trance and house, now diving deep into breakbeat, electro, and groovy techno. I combine various styles to make my sets thick and bold, full of unexpected twists and shifts that keep the energy alive and the dancefloor moving. It’s all about emotion, rhythm, and the right groove. Based in Krakow I’m involved in shaping the local underground scene. Now I’m on my way to raise my own party series Exo Series, where the best artists will create unforgettable experiences through music. See you on the dance floor.

RETROSPECT 166: Aim Ana

Bastian Balders is a techno producer, label owner, and DJ based in Leipzig, Germany. He has been involved in the electronic music scene since the 90s as a fan and listener. In 2014, he began creating his own music and he started working with the Berlin-based techno label Konsequent Records. In 2019, he founded his own record label “Balders Audio”, releasing music with artists such as Alex Bau and Alexander Kowalski. In January 2020, he made his debut at Tresor Berlin. This was followed by gigs in China, India, USA, and Cyprus. His style is marked by catchy, loopy techno with raw, hypnotic elements.
