I am not a musician but music plays a very important role in my creative life! I am an artist/designer and music is my companion and my muse in the long hours I spend working in my studio! 
I am immensely impressed and grateful for all the talented and inspiring musicians whose work graces this Cloud, and I will always re-post sounds that I love (and will listen to again) - knowing that others will enjoy them!

Anna has always been surrounded by music from her Irish roots to playing saxophone and clarinet in Yorkshire bands and orchestras. The greatest delight, at a songwriting workshop a few years ago, was the discovery of her voice. It's been described as smoky, rich and its best when shared. In only a short time, she’s learnt to play the guitar and performing her songs is now something of an addiction.

 

Her passion for music is inspired by her passion for people: she’s an English teacher in FE at Keighley College and has worked in journalism. The joy from working with a diverse group of people has often been the stimulus for her songs.
