Seamlessly blending her Afro-Cuban heritage with broader African and diasporic electronic sounds, Vivian Moinelle grew up in the heart of La Habana, Cuba, and describes herself as a “sonic storyteller.” Her music tells stories of love, resilience, and spirituality. Whether DJing, crafting beats, curating music compilations, or helping friends bring their albums to life, she focuses on creating evocative musical experiences that inspire collective radical joy and, when needed, healing. Now based in New York, she’s developing her MAFEREFUN... project and is excited to share new music soon.
